Back in high school we were in a semifinal match leading by 4pts with 10mins to go and our halfback did the exact same thing except when we went to recover the ball, we knocked it on and the resulting scrum set piece led to them getting the try. Whats even more hilarious is our winger in the last minute intercepted the ball with no one in front him and left everyone eating his dust, only to knock it on over the tryline as he tried to dot it down with one hand. The best thing though was that everyone us, opponents and both coaching staff were just cracking up laughing at the series of unfortunate events 😂
