One thing I found with pounce is if you aim your pounce toward the back to mid tail range you will more consistently pounce on the back end of a target. For Deinon I like to use Ripping kick it’s much more consistent interms of hitting safely and you can stack quite alot of bleed per kick

Raptor strikes is high DPS and takes 10s to time out, so it's way better than bite if you use pounce
those attacks take five bites to actually do good damage. If you can't stack five it's useless. That's why I opt out of using it.
