About the 10 years of rape: Vlad the Impailer (Alucard) was given to the Ottomans (Turks) by his father to not invade Wallacia. During this period that lasted about 10 years he was constantly raped and extremely mistreated. This now adds hilarity in hindsight to Episode 3. Since Anderson essentially raised Maxwell, his shout at the museum can basically be translated as: “Daddy! He’s bullying me!”
Even funnier still, in an interlude episode, we find out Maxwell not only ISN'T a Pedarast but became outright enraged when confronting a traitor who was bribed by a TONNE of children as his property....
When Alucard talks about not allowing "another monster like him" to exist, he's referring to a being who is a monster on behalf of God. That's why he was so angry at what Anderson was doing with the nail. He knew it would take his humanity (or what was left) away. That's also why Seras doesn't count in his eyes, since she still can act on her own desires and with her own agency
Also Dracula wants to die, but he doesn't want to be slain by another monster, he wanted to be slain by a man. He wants to rid the world of monsters. If another monster kills him, that monster will live on. But if a man kills him, It's just another monster gone.
Also, in a world where ghouls, vampires and other monsters can easily tear you a new hole, if you were willing to maintain your humanity, Alucard would respect you for sticking to your guns
in shorter terms: while anderson and seras became monsters, Anderson had his humanity taken(aka he abandoned his), seras managed to keep hers (mainly because pip offered his blood to her, seras didn't drink his blood by force)
Right, and he also wanted a human to earn the right to kill him. In the anime, he launched his army at Anderson as a trial. And he was enraged when Anderson took what he viewed as the easy path.
4:55 The moment when you realize that the lack of music on the intro's for the past few episodes was because the usual music wasn't the show's theme, it was Alucard's.
@@theduckgoesmoo Yup, they even hinted at it earlier with the scene with the Queen, as Alucard arrives "What do you mean you can't find it? No, no just take my phone and hit shuffle"
19:00 he is mad at Anderson because he wants a HUMAN to kill him, not a supernatural Monster. The whole reason he respects Hellsing is her Ancestor bested Dracula in a sword fight... but the Abridged version skipped that backstory and went right to the rape.
adam Dracula wasn’t as strong as he is now. When Abraham Van Hellsing and the gang hunted Dracula, Dracula was just beginning to understand his powers. He had basic animal familiars, 3 vampires, and some human followers but besides that, he still didn’t know what all he could do. There were also a lot of weaknesses that even Alucard is still susceptible to before he ate you-know-who at the end of the series. If you want to know the story, read Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
@@mystic_spider It took me until *watching this* to realise that the huge cross sticking out of the ship was the fuselage of the Blackbird stuck into it like a knife. For years I thought it'd exploded completely on impact and his bloodbath on the decks had twisted the ship's superstructure into the shape he wanted. Fuckin' overthinking.
"the current finally brought him in?" fun fact, did you know that vampires can manipulate the weather? in bram stoker's dracula, drac's vampire brides manipulate mist to form a hypnotic vision to try and eat johnathan harker, one of the main characters. meanwhile, dracula kills everyone on a boat and, through a combination of telekinesis and weather manipulation to make a storm, pushes a boat through the mediterranean and up the coastline to crash land in england, with dracula leaping off the boat in the middle of the night in the form of a wolf. hellsing has been cribbing from dracula directly for a while.
@@theduckgoesmoo hellsing's main theme is actually that it's much cooler and much harder to be a normal human than it is to be a monster. it's why alucard throws a fit when anderson stabs himself with the nail and becomes the monster of god, because he took the easy way out, like a coward, like alucard did. it's also why seras is different from the other vampires and special, because unlike alucard or anderson, she didn't give up her humanity in the process of becoming a monster.
To explain a couple things, Alucard lost the will to live ages ago but would only let himself die to a human, as he swore not to let any other monsters like himself live. When Anderson stabbed himself with the holy relic he became something supernatural which enraged Alucard. (and in the original Alucard almost gave up and let himself be killed anyway, and only Seras calling out to him brought him back.) Also, in the original the black gun was given to him by Walter at the same time he got the cannon for the Police Girl, specifically as a counter to the nanites that let Anderson heal so quickly, which is why his arm didn't heal right away in the last fight. Also it means when Alucard shot him with the black gun in the head as he was stabbing himself with the relic Alucard was fully intending to kill him, no mercy, rather than let Anderson make himself into a monster.
"Wait, he has an army with him?" To put it in FMA terms, Alucard is basically a walking Philosopher's Stone, except he can summon any or every soul contained within, should he want to.
@@azevol216 Vlad Tepes (Dracula) was held as a political prisoner in the Ottoman Empire when he was 8, for 10 years. where he was raped by the king(?) repeatedly during that time. theduckgoestwo yeah, a representer of sorts, as Dracula says, in the name of the demonic or Devine, a monster is still a monster. Essentially anyone who throws away his humanity to “do gods work” can consist to be one of gods monsters.
When you get to episode 10, for god sakes WATCH THE CREDITS. Also the song in the end credits of the final episode is totally fan sung so shouldnt have to worry about copyright.
theduckgoestwo true but Dracula is MUCH more powerful than Alucard (even though they’re the same person. Think of it like frieza and his final form.) plus Anderson would have been fighting an unknown, better to fight a known threat than an unknown.
True as all that is, it has nothing to do with *why* Anderson wanted to fight Alucard instead. The way they talk to each other in that final conversation spells it out. The two have a very weird love/hate/frenemy relationship - remember when they both showed up when Integra first went to meet with Maxwell, then Seras led that old-folk tour group through to distract them from starting a big massive-collateral fight in the middle of a museum, and *both* of them had a "Welp, that ruined the moment" reaction, and sounded very cheerful to agree to fight/kill each other later. It's a strange dynamic, but it makes sense for who they are. And Anderson doesn't have any of that relationship with Dracula. His enemy is *Alucard.* So by God, he's gonna fight Alucard!

@@mcpics4448 technically even that theory is suspect. We only have his notes that were released in 1972, to go on. While alive, Stoker never told anyone what he based the character on.
You've GOT to watch the Alexander Anderson song TFS released now. It's a longer version of the one here and yes, does talk about Anderson's whole backstory
@@theduckgoesmoo Fun Fact: Kohta Hirano did a lot of Hentai mangas before creating Hellsing. A lot of characters from those manga were altered and written into Hellsing. Alexander Anderson was from one called Angel Dust. The Full Rap actually refers to this as part of Anderson's backstory.
I’ve been waiting all day for this Btw let me explain the ridiculousness that is “Release Restraint Level 0”. First of all like I’ve commented previously only Integra can allow Alucard to use it by verbally telling him to do so. Now that that’s out of way let me tell you what it does. First it allows Alucard to use his full power while also giving him the option to tranform into his true form if he so wishes which is Vlad the Impaler aka Dracula. Also it allows his to call on an army of ghouls made up of the souls of every living being he’s ever consumed while also being able to utilize the abilities of anyone he’s ever consumed. Also it part of the reason Alucard is so impossible to kill. Whenever he “dies” a random soul that he’s consumed (which is roughly 2 million) takes his place. So basically imagine Mario from Super Mario Bros. with 2 million 1 ups.
@@theduckgoesmoo trivia: Releasing restraint level 0 requires an incantation. In the original show: "The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame." This is also written on his coffin (that's why they showed that scene).
@istoOi and in this one they replaced it with “When Hope is gone undo this lock, and send me forth on a moonlit walk” I kind of like TFS’s version a bit better
@@TheLangenator A bit? It is far superior. Explains why he always goes on moonlit walks throughout the series(send me forth on a moonlit walk) , explains why it is never used(when hope is gone, undo this lock)... It is by far the second best quote in the while Abridged series. The top one is yet to come(last moment before the credits of episode 10. Don't spoil it.).
LongandWeirdName It makes sense in the Abridged series, but the original quote is a reference to the Ripley Scroll which is said to be the alchemical recipe for the philosopher’s stone. The show doesn’t outright say it but implies Van Helsing used alchemy to bind and improve on Dracula’s powers.
Those missiles launched from the choppers are actually called the “Angel of Death” due to the shape it makes when releasing the payload. That song Get Ready to Die is by Andrew W.K. It’s one of his most well known songs. About the box. One of Anderson’s names is that he’s been called the Bayonet of God since he acts upon his will. It’s because he acts upon the enemies he’s pointed at by “God’s gun” So in a way, him breaking the box and leaving Maxwell to his fate is God’s will so in a sense, it did break the Holy Pope Box. The box that Anderson holds with the Nail in it is labeled Section 3 Matthew. They are the division responsible for keeping holy relics and armaments. Each division of the Catholic Church has a specific role, named after the 12 Disciples. Iscariot is named Section 13 after Judas, the betrayer. They’re like a black ops sect so that’s why they’re named as such.
Anderson was the only foe who Alucard actually respected. When he pulled out the nail, he weeped. Because he was angry that Anderson had sacrificed his honour to win.

If he kills them in the process, he takes their soul and body into himself and they can manifest as a Thrall. Basically a ghoul but stronger and faster.
@@jacobmclean4982 In episode 3 when he ate the Dandyman he got his memories too, or at least read his mind in the moment. Might have just been for the abridged though.
theduckgoestwo Abridged version doesn’t go into details but the original basically says that it’s the process of merging your soul with the souls of others that makes a person into a true vampire. So yes, he has their memories because they’re a not just in him, they’re a part of him. The Abridged version skipped over the moment but before Seras killed Zorin, Zorin tried to invade Seras’s mind again and inside she found the memories of Seras and Pip’s lives blended together indistinguishably. Because the moment Seras took Pip’s blood she took him inside herself. She stopped being ONLY Seras Victoria and became an amalgamation of both of them. Alucard has done that with over 2 MILLION people. Just a little insight.
Anderson is some weird supernatural experiment by the church. No idea how old he is but he doesn't age, he heals, and teleports using... bible pages? Yeah I might have to read the Manga to understand that one.
@@theduckgoesmoo I didn't know that one either lol I assumed it was an experiment with ancient powerful relics, Specifically the spear of destiny since it promises all who wield it immeasurable supernatural power. You're not supposed to be able to overcome any fight and be immortal... Kinda sounds like Anderson, he doesn't die and at the very most only has a stalemate in every fight, until the end.
Love how integra said that probably knowing seras would show up. Then alucard showed up in such a funny and badass way with Ready to Die playing in the distance
Yep. By unlocking Level 0 and releasing the millions of souls trapped inside of him (souls he obtained by drinking those victims' blood. By doing so, each of those million souls are added to Alucard's lifespan. So every time he was "killed" in both the Hellsing Ultimate OVAs and this abridged series, one of those souls would instead be killed in Alucard's place), Alucard became a regular vampire. While Abridged!Alucard has a chaotic and childish personality, the original Dracula - aka Vlad the Impaler - is treated like a separate, and more polite and gentlemanly-killer, personality. :) And his black gun, the Jackal? That pistol was the only way he could kill/critically harm the vampires from Millennium and to critically injure Anderson. Knowing that Alucard would be a harder vampire to kill, he resorted to using the Nail of Helena - one of the nails that was used in Christ's crucifixion, which is considered a magical object in this franchise - to turn himself into a "monster of God". That upset Alucard, because he wanted to be defeated and killed by a human's hands, and he views humans who resort to turning themselves into monsters as weak. And the end credit song in tribute for Alexander Anderson is a parody of the "Alexander Hamilton" song from the musical of the same name! XD
10:05, 13:30 - Remember in episode 3, Alucard read Dandy Man's mind by drinking all of his blood. What Alucard meant by this, he consumed his soul with his blood and he can also summon his soul (and million of others) to aid him. So in short alucard is basically Lich King. And remember that Seras as Vampire created by Alucard himslef and Finally unlocking her full potential, she can do (almost) same stuff just like Alucard can.
The Captain and Anderson kind of share a few specific aspects with Alucard. Anderson is his parallel. A man turned into a monster in the blind service to God. (He also represents Frankenstein as he was experimented on and essentially turned into a super soldier) The Captain is a tragic servant, who has been conditioned into a loyal pet and who can only disobey in relatively small ways. Also, " is it racist to say that sounds better in Arabic?" Has to be one of the funniest lines I have ever heard 😂
I like to think that the song Alucard plays when he arrives is what he meant to use when he met up with the queen in an earlier episode. But since Seras forgot the song he had to use the random button on his phone
The coffin is because in the Bram stroker novels and in most myths Vampires can't cross running waters or travel without a coffin full of their home soil to sleep on.
Here's a fun fact: Several of the characters originally appeared in one-shots that Hirano made before Hellsing. Anderson was one of them and his backstory was basically the backstory that they used for the ending song. The Major and the Captain were also in other one-shots and they were called Montana Max and Hans (don't remember the last name)
The reference to the "2 million-ish" souls Alucard controls is a slight mention of how many followers TFS had at the time of the episode's release. Also, Alucard could lower his Restraint Level down to 1 on his own due to the locks on them. However, Restraint Level 0 is his unbridled form and only Sir Integra (as his Master) can actually remove the lock verbally.
Basically, Alucard was mad because he ultimately wants a human to defeat him by human will and skill-which is a major theme in the actual OVA. In his mind, there is no difference between a monster for the good (represented by Anderson after transforming) or evil (true Vampires like him and Serea, The Captian)they've sacrificed that very human will/drive which allows that ultimately is the most precious thing in the world. "A monster such as myself. A creature of such weakness that I could not bear the weight of human life. If I am to be defeated, it must be by a human."
Fun fact: the spanish inquisition were the most expected in quisition in human history. They would send a letter 30 days ahead of time that they were coming.
the restraint levels work as such: level 1 is a level he is allowed to use as a last resort on his own accord(hes so rediculously powerful that he rarely uses it). level 0 on the other hand is him using ALL of his accumulated power, but it has to be done with express permission from the head of the hellsing organization at the time the command is being issued in... in short its a differance of power output that is MASSIVE between the 2 levels... his regular form gets signifficantly enhanced by level 1, and its a minute fraction of what the power is in level 0(for obvious reasons)
level 1 may not even be only for a last resort as during the only time alucard does use it he wasn't in any significant danger, he just used it to quickly end his fight with luke, he could have easily killed luke without level 1
when the author of the manga got asked how anderson manifests so many bajonetts he said something like " eehhm its magic i guess... this is hellsing, it should not be taken so seriously" and i love that
Alucard's "Life Hack" is why he's typically immortal. But when he uses it as he did, he needs a moment to recall those lives back into him, so he's a fair bit less immortal. That's why, in the main show, Anderson is fighting him now. It's probably the only chance he had to actually succeed in killing Alucard. Oh, and the song is from the popular musical "Hamilton", specifically the opening song "Alexander Hamilton". Team Four Star's actually done two songs from that musical, the other called "Just Give Up", sung by Lord Freeza.
When theres a recorded Hamilton performance officially on Disney plus that you watch with your parents, but the opening song has you ready to spit out words to the TFS "Parody" since you've listened to it multiple times and know all the words somehow.
Note: thanks to nano machines (son) Anderson has visibly aged about 5 years since Heinkel, Yumi and Maxwell were kids in his orphanage He also has freak healing, which you saw in the first episode. He's a modern Frankenstein's monster
hilariously, you can think of Alucard's immortality as something similar to the homunculi from FMA, he uses the souls in him to be immortal. Level 0 is letting out the souls to literally be his army.
Long ago, Dracula was defeated by Abraham Van Helsing and his fellows; a defeat so epic that it instilled an intense fear and respect of the man for Dracula, as well as the hope that he would one day be again defeated by such an epic human. Which is why he was so ticked off when the next promising contender, Anderson, sacrificed his humanity to become a "monster of God".
Also for Dracula. His Dracula and Alucard selves are different personalities that Vlad Tepes made to keep himself relatively sane and focused over the centuries that Humanity has progressed and changed. The reason Drac has a sword, is because he is taking the form of the original Dracula, son of the dragon, when he first became a vampire. Alucard's persona was created when he encountered Abraham Van Hellsing.
Alucard is at both his strongest and weakest when he activates restraint level 0. The reason he can regenerate when "killed" is because he can call upon one of his devoured souls to do so. So once he uses level 0, should he be slain, it would be for good.
Well just to let you know... I have never actually watched episode 10... Got that whole if i never watch it it can never end... So just for you i'm gonna finish the series. Also no a full half ish died in previous episodes.
Interga's father gave Alucard his new name. There are many references to Bram Stoker's Dracula in the series and the real Count Dracula of Wallacia. Once be became King, he severally punished many Turkish warriors from the Ottoman Empire who invaded his land, killing them and impaling their bodies on spites as a warning. Which is why he was called "Vlad the Impaler." When Alucard activated Level Zero. All of the souls of the people's blood he consumed were released, revealing his true self when he was human. He has been a vampire for decades and a few hundred years, there would be a lot of people included "The Dandy Man" and "Rip Van Winkle" They have become a part of him and his undead servants for eternity. The huge black dog is "The Hound of Baskerville" which Alucard can shape shift into. You can see it in the original Hellsing opening. I suggest cheeking it out, not only is it completely in English, but the music is amazing.
Alucard in the original (and in this too I think) respected Anderson because, despite the nanobot things that repaired him, he was still mostly human. When he used the nail on himself, he sacrificed his humanity and became a monster, in one move he destroyed any respect Alucard ever had for him Also, his coming back to life is those souls he's consumed, he basically uses up one of those and brings himself back to life with it
what is fun and it took me a while to see it, but when Alucard, Anderson and "Logan" met up in the city, it was the old Universal monster movies, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, and the Wolfman.
Also Alucard and Dracula are the same, but two different 'people' because Alucard is whoever he chooses to be. They go into more depth on this in the manga but earlier when fighting rip van winkle and when flirting with the queen they allude to Alucard being a woman in the 40s because he changes form at will but Alucard is his favorite form while Dracula is the original form he reverted to after he expelled all the souls inside him
Even though it’s stated more in ultimate When Anderson is getting ready to use the nail you still get the sense that Alucard is really upset with this prospect, not because it could kill him but because if he’s going to be killed he’d prefer it was by a human and not another monster. Also the song Alexander Anderson is a parity of the song Alexander Hamilton.
The big "angel wings" in the sky in the beginning are actually flares from a C-130. Edit: I bought that shirt at the end a few years ago, it's great quality.
Rhineland Massacres. Said right in the subtitles, the crusades of 1096. And from this day forward, Alexander became Saint Alexander ‘Motherfucking’ Anderson.
So the reason Alucard was SO angry and Anderson using the Nail on himself is there is a Core part of Alucard that WANTS to die. But the only way he’d accept it is he wants himself, a monster, to die by the hands of a human. And he saw Anderson as the most likely human to have a chance at killing Alucard, (not to mention he’s currently at his most venerable because Alucard’s way of regenerating from death is sacrificing one of his absorbed souls...who were all outside of him and purged in holy flame, so no regeneration, land a fatal blow and it will stick right now) so here comes the most likely human to finally end him...and he goes and throws away his humanity, making himself just another monster, just. Like. Alucard. So rightfully Alucard was a bit miffed.
Hellsings lore is a bit complicated, but it is awesome, because it blends real worl history so well with pre existing fiction and adds a all new setting adding the nazis and ww3. Basically Vlad the Impaler was the son of Drag, Emperor of Walachia, a small orthodox nation between the mighty ottaman empire and the holy Roman empire in todays Romania. Drag tried to appease the Ottamans by sending his 2 sons to the Sultan, to be educated in the Ottaman ways. He wanted to make sure Walachia would not be attacked by the Ottamans in the future. However, Vlad was the second son of Drag, and the Sultan deemed him unimportant. He was apparently raped for 10 years before returning to Walachia. His older brother died early and Vlad later killed his father, who was trying to constantly appease foreign forces. Dracula (Son of Drag) then invited 500 embassadors to his coronation, only to have them all impaled. He apparently drank their blood and declared war on the Ottaman Empire. He needed the back of the Pope, de facto ruler of the Holy Roman Empire, since Vlad knew he was the only force standing between the Empire and the overly mighty Ottamans. The Pope did not want to send troops to war, but he gave Vlad his blessing and told him that victory would be his because he has the lord on his side. Vlad fought the Ottamans and slaughtered millions of innocents in the process, but the Ottamans were too big of a force, and Dracula was almost defeated. One last time he asked to Pope for reinforcements or otherwise he would lose this holy war, yet the pope was disgusted by Draculas actions and told him he is Monster. Vlad was defeated, beheaded and his head was sent to the sultan. In fiction, Vlad made a deal with the devil, cursing God and using the damned souls of his victims to achieve immortality, fighting the church and whoever claims to kill in the name of God as he once did. Like in the book Dracula by Bram Stoker, Hellsing plays with the idea that Abraham van Hellsing (who here is Integras great great Grandfather) not only defeated but captured Dracula, who was so impressed by a mere mortal catching him that he restrained himself and became Alucard, working for the Hellsing family from there on. In the Manga, Alucard became a soldier of the queen and fought the nazis in ww3 with a young Walter by his side, only to then be locked away again, until Integra freed him. The reason Alucard had to kill Anderson is because Anderson used the Nail of St. Helena to become strong enough to defeat Alucard, thereby becoming a Monster of God himself, just like Alucard once was. Alucards only goal was to never let someone like him ever exist, so he made the deal with God to give up all his souls to defeat Anderson. I hope that clears it up.. Not spoiling ep 9
Okay, so a little context on the Alucard vs Anderson thing. The reason Alucard gets so pissed when Anderson uses the nail is that Alucard wants to die, but wants a human to do it, not a monster or some divine fuckery. Anderson getting divine intervention leaves him not quite human anymore (not that he was exactly a normal human before).
not sure if how well this is explained but basically Alucard has the ability to turn into a previous form. Count Dracula was his former vampire life before he died then got reincarnated as a girl, died a virgin then turned into Alucard from what i understand. the coffin that Alucard brings with him conatains the body of Count Dracula (or so i assume) so he actually needed the coffin to turn from Alucard into Count Dracula. (spoilers) we will get to see what Alucard looked like before he became Alucard (aka the girl body meantioned from like episode 2 or 3 if the abridged) here shortly
Reason Dracula had a sword is because he used to be Vlad the Impaler. That's who Dracula was inspired by and who was before his change into the monster he is. Vlad was a real person in history. Vlad Tepes the impaler of the house of Dracul. And as you saw here in the anime, Vlad did in real life impale bodies on pikes and post them around. I assume he did it as warnings and to strike fear into his enemies. He was a cruel badass monster of a human being and a hero of Romania
I know this is late, but (to the best of my knowledge) the reason Anderson has so many bayonets at 13:00 is because the author didn't want to be constrained by logic, and just wanted him to have an absolute s***ton of bayonets. Thus Anderson's coat is literally a portal to a dimension of infinite bayonets.
Anderson is just a little over a century in age. The Paladins of the Iscariot Order are enhanced by a form of cybernetic tech. Not sure what the full idea is though. He looked the same when Maxwell's father was a child.
So Dracula was a serious and despite being a guy who killed hundreds if not thousands, was a gentleman. And alucard is more or less a joking, dickish, troll. Aka the "reverse" Of dracula
Ok that song is actually, Alexander Hamilton; what you heard is a parody, and I challenge you to watch the full version of their parody :) They made a full song btw.

Dracula wasn’t as strong as he is now. When Abraham Van Hellsing and the gang hunted Dracula, Dracula was just beginning to understand his powers. He had basic animal familiars, 3 vampires, and some human followers but besides that, he still didn’t know what all he could do. There were also a lot of weaknesses that even Alucard is still susceptible to before he ate you-know-who at the end of the series.

it's also why seras is different from the other vampires and special, because unlike alucard or anderson, she didn't give up her humanity in the process of becoming a monster.
The fog...
@@theduckgoesmoo infinite good crops, that's how I'd use that power
In short, Alucard is essentially a philosophers stone from FMA on steroids.
Not steroids. But definitely some sort of drug!

@@theduckgoesmoo and i wonder if alucard took anderson seriusly before he pulled the nail out, would anderson had even lasted till then?
theduckgoestwo true but Dracula is MUCH more powerful than Alucard (even though they’re the same person.

Btw let me explain the ridiculousness that is “Release Restraint Level 0”.
I've already rewatched this episode 4 times
@@theduckgoesmoo trivia:
Releasing restraint level 0 requires an incantation. In the original show: "The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame." This is also written on his coffin (that's why they showed that scene).
@istoOi and in this one they replaced it with “When Hope is gone undo this lock, and send me forth on a moonlit walk”

This. Figured someone else would say it first and didn't want to add to a possible flood of comments giving him the same answer.
When Alucard drinks blood from people he basically claims the soul of the person he drinks at the time.
If he kills them in the process, he takes their soul and body into himself and they can manifest as a Thrall. Basically a ghoul but stronger and faster.
And their memories right?
theduckgoestwo I’m pretty sure he doesn’t but I could be wrong after all we don’t know what Alucard is capable of.

And his black gun, the Jackal?
And remember that Seras as Vampire created by Alucard himslef and Finally unlocking her full potential, she can do (almost) same stuff just like Alucard can.
she is just few million souls short
7:30 you asked why there was 2 million steps to kill him, this is why, each "death" he suffers kills one of those souls rather than him.
The credit song was a parody of "Alexander Hamilton" from the musical "Hamilton"
The Captain and Anderson kind of share a few specific aspects with Alucard.
Anderson is his parallel. A man turned into a monster in the blind service to God. (He also represents Frankenstein as he was experimented on and essentially turned into a super soldier)
The Captain is a tragic servant, who has been conditioned into a loyal pet and who can only disobey in relatively small ways.
Also, " is it racist to say that sounds better in Arabic?" Has to be one of the funniest lines I have ever heard 😂
13:00 He has summoning "magic" in his sleeves, he just summons them from an armory.
Also fun fact shrodinger was part of hirano hentai
They would send a letter 30 days ahead of time that they were coming.
the restraint levels work as such:
level 1 is a level he is allowed to use as a last resort on his own accord(hes so rediculously powerful that he rarely uses it).
level 0 on the other hand is him using ALL of his accumulated power, but it has to be done with express permission from the head of the hellsing organization at the time the command is being issued in...
in short its a differance of power output that is MASSIVE between the 2 levels... his regular form gets signifficantly enhanced by level 1, and its a minute fraction of what the power is in level 0(for obvious reasons)
level 1 may not even be only for a last resort as during the only time alucard does use it he wasn't in any significant danger, he just used it to quickly end his fight with luke, he could have easily killed luke without level 1
when the author of the manga got asked how anderson manifests so many bajonetts he said something like " eehhm its magic i guess... this is hellsing, it should not be taken so seriously" and i love that
Alucard's "Life Hack" is why he's typically immortal.
The person who reads the title cards is usually someone who has a very important moment in the episode and character deaths always read the title card
Note: thanks to nano machines (son) Anderson has visibly aged about 5 years since Heinkel, Yumi and Maxwell were kids in his orphanage
He also has freak healing, which you saw in the first episode. He's a modern Frankenstein's monster
hilariously, you can think of Alucard's immortality as something similar to the homunculi from FMA, he uses the souls in him to be immortal. Level 0 is letting out the souls to literally be his army.
Thank freaking god, someone that gets the inquisition joke!
"I will be the new God of this world!" Maxwell, Kira you are not!
Zack voicing Satan was perfectly done
He was so afraid that Alucard was going on a walk lmao XD
Long ago, Dracula was defeated by Abraham Van Helsing and his fellows; a defeat so epic that it instilled an intense fear and respect of the man for Dracula, as well as the hope that he would one day be again defeated by such an epic human. Which is why he was so ticked off when the next promising contender, Anderson, sacrificed his humanity to become a "monster of God".
we can properly conclude he has VERY enthusiastic walks here
Also for Dracula.

Which is why he was called "Vlad the Impaler."
When Alucard activated Level Zero.
When he used the nail on himself, he sacrificed his humanity and became a monster, in one move he destroyed any respect Alucard ever had for him
Also, his coming back to life is those souls he's consumed, he basically uses up one of those and brings himself back to life with it
The ending song is a parody of Hamilton (the Broadway show)
what is fun and it took me a while to see it, but when Alucard, Anderson and "Logan" met up in the city, it was the old Universal monster movies, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, and the Wolfman.
Walter did Anderson dirty... I'd be pissed too, Alucard...
22:27 yes it's a parody of the song Alexander Hamilton from the play Hamilton
Been looking forward to this reaction and was not disappointed. Such an awesome episode.
I love the Hamilton parody they made. I actually have it on my amazon music app and listen to it every now and than.
Something that I didn't notice before, was that one of the choppers was destroyed by the Dandyman's magic cards. 8:48

Me and Alexander Anderson share same favorite movie.
And now i'm waiting for the reaction to the alexander anderson song
Okay, so a little context on the Alucard vs Anderson thing. The reason Alucard gets so pissed when Anderson uses the nail is that Alucard wants to die, but wants a human to do it, not a monster or some divine fuckery. Anderson getting divine intervention leaves him not quite human anymore (not that he was exactly a normal human before).
the ready to die thing is a running joke in several anime abridged series called seinenitis

Theduckgoestwo: Alucard's not here right now. That's why he needs a sword.
Immediately after saying that:
Dracula: Alucard is not here right now.
Called it
@@theduckgoesmoo Nailed it!
@@NikolaiManning like the Romans?
not sure if how well this is explained but basically Alucard has the ability to turn into a previous form.
"They can hear that?"
Knowing Alucard? Oh hell yeah. 😂
Needless to say, the original Ultimate didn't have this song playing during the Level Zero. I get chills each time I see THAT.
Anderson is just a little over a century in age. The Paladins of the Iscariot Order are enhanced by a form of cybernetic tech. Not sure what the full idea is though. He looked the same when Maxwell's father was a child.
Alexander, Alucard and the Captain are all ridiculously tall.
the end song is a parody of "alexander Hamilton" from the Hamilton musical btw
I still can decide between the Alexander Anderson song and the Cell I Did My Way parody for best TeamFourStars Parody
David Bucherre: THIS IS WHAT WE GET FOR STICKING OUR NECKS OUT?
Theduckgoesmoo: Go back to canada!
Canada: No. we dont want him here, send him to greenland.
The end credit song is their version of "Alexander Hamilton"
Actually this is one of the few episodes the narrator is the person - Anderson - going to die like in Dragon ball Z Abridged - Namek saga. Usually the one who dies narrates the episode after or in Yan Valentine case two episodes after. One character narrates episode before dying.
