At the very least, McFarlane should make the figures match the art in the collector card/packaging. If he wanted to use the first appearance cover for the card, the figure should have matched with the short red shoes. As is, he should have used an appropriate panel from in the comic with the blue shoes. Especially as this is the kind of figure people would want to keep mint in box.
he's just so shiny! otherwise pretty decent. I think the head sculpt is pretty good but the body overall looks a little off (limbs look "bent" and those elbow and knee joints are ugly for example).
Man I feel like they charged $10 more for writing "collector's edition" in the box and adding a stand for the card. To me is a total fail, I only like the head sculpt and the skin tone won't match any of the other Superman figs they've done so maybe if it goes on clearance otherwise easy pass, it's just like any other multiverse but at $30, that was lame...
That is a plus. I just remember when they first got the main DC line how weirdly proportioned a lot of them were. I think the more recent ones look a bit better from what I have seen.
Rip Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt.
An interesting figure. His face sculpt reminds me of a young Billy Bob Thorton.
I can see that.
Ohhh yes I love me good superman, and where better to see a review for the *man of steel* than on *metaldriver reviews*
🤘

Definitely.
If this had the richer blue and red boots then it'd be great. I know there's chase but I prefer the S on this

McFarlane always puts out perfection, but the insane price hike is retarded

Pretty much. It’s a nice box, but charging an extra $10 for it is dumb.
I have mixed feelings about McFarlane figures. Some look really nice and some look kind...off
That’s a fair assessment. I can appreciate that many of the figures are unique and don’t all share the same body molds.
