I feel bad for Kaela, but it was freaking hilarious that she was still processing Haachama's death and Nene message just appears out of nowhere LOL
Another honorabe mention is Miko almost dying from fall damage. She survived with 2 hearts after getting glowstone for the group.
Edit: NEVERMIND I paused near the end of the video as I typed this comment and just now saw the Towa moment. Augh my heart 😂
And Kaela falling down the hole a couple minutes before Hachama died.
@@jjQlLlLq she also almost fall to the gap where Haachama first died but her reflexes saved her only to Suisei fall to that gap and survive just like Botan on this clip

It's crazy, Kiara was literally placing the blocks right before Haachama fell, she was gonna block the hole
To all the comments saying they should close the hole off. Kaela and her group ended up closing the hole after haachama fell in there during their trip. Sorry if this sounded aggressive, I didnt know how to put it nicely without commenting on every comment.

The area already looked like it was under development, with the cobblestone and all, so you'd think plugging holes in the floor would be top priority.
But to be fair, it was the sort of big hole that you expect everyone to see and avoid, not a 2 block gap that people might miss. The location of the hole was unfortunate, and Haachama came jumping in at a bad angle.
Closing it up afterwards is the correct choice, but should have done it immediately so Botan does not fall or (if Botan's fall came first) Botan should have reported her near-death experience and/or patched it up immediately. That would have gotten them higher marks.
Towa Aqua and Suisei using dirt to build a bridge in the Nether though, now that's not a great decision.
what can I say. Every improvement comes with a cost, or in this case, 1.5 lives.
Everyone that dies is one less person that Kaela gets to play with

Didn't hear a thing. Just looked away for a sec and she's gone.
The worst part about Lui's was that this was the only day she had available to be a part of the server, she had a membership stream that she postponed a couple days so that she could stay as long as possible, and then died five minutes before said stream was supposed to start. That's just the worst luck😔
The sheer dichotomy of Kaela and Botan’s reactions to fellow mems’ deaths. One has regrets and wonders how she could have saved them (except kusogaki Bijou) 😔 The other just gives a cheeky bye bye 👋 laughs uproariously and is usually the last one to survive 😂

The more clumsy ones are yes. But Minecraft pros like Kaela find ways to survive.
Part of me is thankful to Pekora for setting this all up and getting everyone into Minecraft again and leading to a lot of great interactions and content by putting real stakes on it, and part of me can't help but wonder if all the pain and suffering was the war criminal's goal all along.

I watched Aqua's stream during Towa strafe moment so I only heard her scream, but dangit that looks very dangerous lmao
Anyway, now we have 3 players out (Subaru, Haachama, Nenechi). I heard Lui also chose to drop out too after her 1st death but I haven't checked it yet.
Players on their 2nd life: Ririka, Aqua, Polka, Koyori, Suisei.
The death count increased after Nether opened. It was lower than I thought tho, so I guess they're really playing this cautiously.
@@kanzaki2672 Only one damn hole caused them a lot of deaths and almost deaths. Btw the one who covered this hole with rock blocks should be scolded because it's only camouflaged the hole even more that even smartest of members fell. Thanks god that Kiara finally closed this hole entirely.
When did Ririka die?

Botan jumped in the same hole as Haachama but landed on a ledge taking fall damage. They should show all the near misses too! NM I typed thus before finishing the video LOL you did include it!
Also the same hole Susei fell down into xD they really should close that off, only killed Haachama so far but it is... waiting for them

@@YenreiKaela have feather falling 4 and all protection 4, she can survive with 100 blocks fall dmg. Luck that she not fall into lava. 😊
And in the end Miko survived the day, I think that apart from luck it also helped that she had already done two series of Minecraft Hardcore

Kaela silent reaction on hachama death is influence my kokoro alot which is i cant bear it, its hurt😢. b4 that kaela fall also make the emotional jumping so that enhance my sadness as a viewer when the haccident occured.

Well after helping miko & other members in nether, her brain is like not working properly. Getting lost, forgot what to do, etc. But still helping haachama to go to nether again (due to anya & nene interaction 😂), so i was like "yea haachaman 90% will die again for sure", 10% if lucky.
It was a tough day for her, and for her viewers. Everyone was talking about finally seeing the god builder and god grinder team up, then Haachama says she wants to go back to the nether and Kaela clearly didn't think it was a good idea, but also wanted to help her. Then a freak accident occurs and she feels so bad with survivors guilt she almost starts crying later. It's just too hardcore for me. My anxiety was going crazy the whole time they were in the nether to the point I could barely watch, and in the end disaster strikes repeatedly.
Aqua processing her death felt like an eternity before she reacted. That Haachama, Kaela interaction was super cute.
You missed one where kaela almost died. She was with haachama and kaela dropped down in front of haachama.

They underestimated the Nether too much. They don't even really visit the Nether in the normal Minecraft Holoserver. For Kaela, it seems the Nether is easier than the End, but that's just her. While you could say Haachama is an experienced player, she never dwells or survives in the Nether for as long as Kaela does when she's mining for netherite.
Can you imagine? On day one, when the hardcore Nether opened, their objective was to conquer a blaze spawner and try to make a blaze farm without preparation and without bringing basic items like fire resistance potions.
But yeah, this isn't really that serious. It's just for fun, it's not really a proper hardcore Minecraft server.
Yeah, the goal wasn't the progress per se, we all've seen enough of that. This event brought a make-shift story of loss and struggle, to make a new chapter on the lore.
Isn't the purpose of finding Blaze is to farm Blaze rods so you can fuel your Brewing stand to make potions?

The problem is that Kaela is the only one who is prepared with proper armor to visit the Nether.

This part is actually mistranslated, she says "あっけな過ぎる" (akkenasugiru). Literally translated it means "too simple", with context applicable to this situation she's saying "I died to such a simple mistake".

I've been wondering for a while what it would be like if Hololive were to host a Minecraft Civilization experiment. This event continues to demonstrate just how much of a fool's errand that would be.
Lava onsen sets are needed and feather falling.
no matter what she did, haachama would hav ve died. Even if she did block the lava frame one, the lava would have remained long enough tht she wouldnt be ble to survive.
actually would it have? she has decent armor to last a bit against lava and since lava flows fast in the nether id bet that she could outlast the lava flow, although the fire damage is a different story
She definitely had enough time if she ate nonstop and the lava was stopped asap
I think she could escape the lava if blocked rightaway, but kaela was hungry & nervous (you can see in vod a few minutes before this she's rushing stuff and almost died), I don't blame her tho, it's her 6th hour of streaming.
@@Yenreiprobably not. even in koyo pov her food indicator isn't decrease even though her health is decreasing (need time so she can eat again).
So even kaela close the gap asap, there's still the remain lava for a few seconds, probably remain forever due to different leveling that create pond lava.
@@raf.4028 u gotta remember tht its nether lava not overworld lava. It flows faster but takes the same amount of time to clear up after being blocked. And i did meant tht she would have died from the fire damage.

I think suisei actually tried to swim in the lava. Because the shot missed her and she looked at the giant hole that it left, next second shes in the lava 😂.
Sad for the fallen comrades but there's still a lot alive and new ones incoming, tbh i'm more surprised that miko didn't die...
not just botan, suisei also fell and survived the same hole that killed haachama the first time (towa’s pov). you can see from kiara’s pov when she almost fell in but stopped quick enough, then she shifted to pull out the blocks to cover the hole before haachama fell right infront of her. from ina’s pov too you can clearly see the pig pounce onto shuba and shuba’s scream was so loud as she got yeet off platform.
The place where hachaamaa died have been created so many accident last night, i hope they closed it up soon

1:20 this is why ghast is dangerous in MC. not that it deals damage or break blocks, but because it can temporarily made you lose your surroundings.
