I've looked at spread trading a ton but every time I don't think my read on the spread will be any more accurate than the outrights, and I get concerned about the transaction costs. Certainly an area I'd like to investigate more though so if you have ideas please message me on discord.
@@SpeculatorSeth spread day trading is more efficient on prop firms, where you get competitive transaction costs, the type of spread trading I'm doing is on a swing timeframe and only on commodities, where I take decisions based on seasonality, fundamentals and mean reversion.
Thinking that you are trading in your sim account to record a video only to find out you were in your live account. The video I was making was about stop losses, so I was intentionally placing trades that would go against me.
@@SpeculatorSeth when I am trading long(as in timeframe) futures, I always hedge with options. The liquidity is just not there for nq. Harder fills and it is very hard to protect a position..
Doubling down was my biggest mistake.. but I dont regret it b/c i learned so much from it.

My biggest mistake being revenge trader for a while until it hit me
NQ Screwed up my account :) I should have never traded NQ. don't miss it.! The options are not as liquid as ES.
Options on NQ? That just sounds crazy.
