Oh those tweeds!!! I’m collecting Woolen/tweeds to make a floor pouf by closet core. I, just finished today, made a Tessuti Apron with leftover pieces of linen from other projects. Love it! The thought of a patch work tweed skirt is delightful (as is Monkeyface yarn). 😊
I had to look those patterns up because I am totally out of the loop with sewing but they are amazing. I bet that pouf is going to look fantastic in woolens and tweeds!! Haha I may need to buy my own sewing machine after all... 😅😊
Hi Genny! I’m so glad you had a good time at the festival. My daughter, Alyson, is one of the organizers of The Woolly Good Gathering and I was manning her Moorit stall in the “library” on the ground floor. I remember seeing your beautiful sweater at some point, but didn’t get a chance to ask you about it. Thank you for sharing your trip❤
Hi Vivian! What a small (and amazing) world the knitting world is. The festival was such a delight and it's clear how much work went into making it such a positive experience for everyone. Thank you for helping to put on such a special day and please pass on my thanks to Alyson too! ❤ (and thank you for your kind words about my sweater! It's one I designed myself and am very very slowly making into a pattern)
Sry to hear you had to deal with a migraine on your trip. As someone who has suffered from chronic migraines I’m glad you were able to hear the speakers and enjoy some of your plans before it really took hold. Can’t wait to see what you do with all the tweed. Fun!
Thank you! I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from chronic migraines as well. You're exactly right though that I was lucky I got to experience the first day more or less pain free 😊 We have to take the wins where we can!
Love the travel log & the yummy tweeds! Thank you💛
Thank you! 😊

Good luck on the pattern. I’ll keep an eye out for it!

LOVE those tweed samples! Did you end up making anything yet with them? A skirt or quilt would be perfect. 🤎
Aw thank you! They are beautiful, aren't they? I still haven't gotten around to using them yet but hopefully soon!
thank you for sharing your venture
Thank you for saying hello ☺
