But this is not any threat...empty but implicit or veiled statement hinting at circumstances should not be deemed as threats.
True caller doesn't reveal actual ownership or originator of a text, various individuals may bear same identity. You should have cross examined him to confirm same before coming out indicate that he initiated such a text
