After that first line, I put my pen down and was all ears and eyes on her cos I damn new we were in for something else.. Everytime I think I've heard her best, I stumble upon something new and I have been a fan my whole life, that's 30 plus years.. and not only is this new to me.. its probably one of the best covers I've heard her do. Let alone anyone do of that song but one of her best covers. I think if you ever wanted to show someone why you love Celine or why she is part of the vocal trinity.. this is a perfect example.. AMAZING!!!!
Omg! My favorite rendition of this song ever! My Bday is Jan 8th. Same day as Elvis. Her being my favorite artist of all time aside, I prefer her version above all others. I play it every year for myself. The most perfect runs of all time IMO. I prefer her this one over 93. The weighty mature perfection she continues to master is everything.
