I love this playlist. Another pro for me: When on the water just for relaxing and having fun, swimming and splashing in the water, you can get on and off easily in the middle of a lake 🙂

My partner and I have two of the ISLE pro series hybrids, one pioneer and one explorer. They've both been excellent as either SUPs or kayaks! The only time the flat hull presented a noticeable challenge was when we took them out on a high wave day on Lake Michigan, but it was still a ton of fun. Otherwise they've performed great at all the lakes, rivers, and reservoirs we've been on in CO. We definitely prefer using them as SUPs over kayaks, I would say if your main intention was to SUP with the versatility to kayak go for these, but if you're only looking to kayak you may want to look elsewhere. Highly recommend the pro series boards, customer service with ISLE has been great as well!

Kind of like this idea as a casual tbh. I'd only go out when it's sunny/warm enough to not mind when getting wet in the first place so this really does seem like a nice option

Love my hybrid. You will get wet though- either a pro or con depending on the season. So great to toss in my truck when exploring bc can do anything with it if I come across a body of water- SUP, kayak or just float and laze around on it. And they are super stable. Not great for really covering long distances at speed as a SUP compared to a solid core SUP. Better as a kayak for covering longer distances at speed, though you definitely need to be able to convert your SUP paddle to a double sided kayak paddle to gain this advantage. About the same as any general use sit inside or sit on top kayak I would say.

On a calm lake, can such an option match inflatable kayaks when it comes to speed?

So true! Weight is a major factor to consider when comparing to plastic kayaks, as hybrid inflatables are more than 50% lighter.

Another pro - way easier to clean and dry than an inflatable kayak.

This is a very interesting video packed with information and the guy never stops talking. Why the music then? It is mega annoying and distracting. HINT: in College classes are held without background music, right? same goes for President speeches, police press conferences and any situation in which something needs to be informed clearly and without disruptions. ADVISE: ditch the music asap.

@@Coover90210 How do you spell advise in Australia?
Content Tags. The main difference between advice vs advise is that “advise” (with an S) is a verb, which means to recommend, or to give information to someone. On the other hand, “advice” (with a C) is a noun: an opinion or recommendation offered as a guide to action.
