    He's my all-time favorite U.S. player. You can tell how much pride he has representing our country.

    If he can stay healthy and start seeing the field more for Dortmund I truly believe he could be one of the world’s best attacking mids. So much potential!

    I wish he got more play time at Dortmund - but at the same time he gets to be the under study of Brandt and Rues, which is pretty amazing all by itself.

    In the second goal against Ghana, you can tell Reyna is aiming for that top right corner. Really good accuracy with his shooting.

    if he (and others) can stop the whining, pouting, entitled, spoiled brat behavior (this includes coaches & management) we could have something special; cause the talent is there... until then not much will change other than wasted potential

    • @aggy978
      @aggy978 6 місяців тому +13

      He didn’t have a tantrum. He was understandably upset at being told that he wouldn’t have a major role in the World Cup, and apologized to the entire team and the manager before any games were played. It was his parents who made it bigger than it should’ve been, and we now see how importance he is for us

      @@aggy978 he was pouting and sulking like a child on the field wearing the national team jersey... not sure what your definition of tantrum is but that's pretty damn close if not... either way unacceptable when putting that jersey on; deal with it off the field... his parents' behavior was an absolute joke and that of middle schoolers

      Our idiot coach told the best player in the pool that he wasn’t going to play at the freaking World Cup. Subbed on Jordan Morris before him. So yeah, Gio was upset about that.
      He also apologized to the team and then Gregg told the world about it afterwards like the great leader he is.
      And Gio is not his parents. That’s a separate issue.

      @@calebhintz5374 it's like you're using words, spelling, grammar but missing logic... it's all intertwined and related... also it's possible in today's world for more than one thing to be true at once... our coach has plenty of blame to shoulder... as for pouting on the field... it's the world cup it's every 4 years time to grow up (you and Gio)... you be a professional and sort that out before or after the game not during... Gio can be upset what he can't do is do it at the cost of the team which is what happened... don't get me started on Jordan Morris he's awful

      @@samplingmastersxlr8660 He was totally fit. Was playing for Dortmund right before the World Cup and doing well. GGG tried to say he was injured to cover his ass but then later changed his reasoning to "Jordan Morris provides speed and power so we subbed him on instead" after Gio insisted he was healthy.
