Hiding your accent has nothing to do with speaking proper English. The actress that I was referring too did give her reasons as to why she is doing it. If you know who I am talking about you can check her interviews before she moved to the US. Nomzamo, Black Coffee etc continue to speak with their RSA accent when they do interviews. Kodwake accent or not as long as the person is happy and proud of where she comes from.

@@reyhanajacobs1595 fam listen.. I live in Southern California where real Mexicans cook real Mexican food. Especially in Downtown Los Angeles where I be on occasion. Travel anywhere else in the United States besides New Mexico and Texas and the Mexican food is trashh lol so I'm saying we gotta have some real authentics to deliver that flavor how it's supposed to be delivered. Just like Africans have they sauce in the ways they cook so do Mexicans, it's time to get the cooks in the kitchen and have a Braii/BBQ/Fiesta for the ¹one time

That "eh" she sometimes adds to the end of her sentence kills me. Trevor Noah African accent impersonations instantly comes to mind.
