This made me cry because even though it’s not the flashiest presents, you actually pay attention to their interests and do what you can with what you have. You can tell you really care about your children and you’re such a genuine person I’m so happy I found your channel :)
I wish I had known you, my heart goes out to your family, you will be missed but I know you have left them all of these wonderful memories with your videos, RIP Beautiful lady.
Andrea, pregnant must agree with you. You are absolutely gorgeous in this video! I'm not just saying that. You are truly GLOWING! More importantly, you are such a kind and sweet person. Blessings to you and your family.
Melinda Burton agreed! Her skin is flawless and her eyes are SOOOO pretty! I never noticed before, maybe the no glasses has somethibg to do with it but wow... Solo pretty!
I dont know why I didnt think of breaking up gift sets. I always thought that they were a great idea, but my kid never needed THAT much paw patrol body wash😂 I love the slime idea!! This would be cute in a birthday goodie bag. Making them scented was also a great idea😁Thanks for sharing!
As The Days Get Closer To Christmas, Your Family Weigh Heavily In My Heart And Prayers. I Think About How Much Love And Thoughts You Put Into All The Gifts And I Ask God To Allow Someone To Step Up And Continue Your Tradition Instead Of Changing It. They Are All So Happy With Routine And Know That They Will Each Receive Something Useful. I’m Adopting Your “Level Method” Of Wrapping As Well As The Stocking Stuffer Gift Giving. Rest In Heaven Sweet Andrea. Thank You For Blessing My Life And Home.
I totally admire and respect you on many levels. You have such a kind, caring, loving, giving heart and such a sweet, gentle spirit. You are soooo organized! Your patience is amazing. Your energy, even when pregnant, seems endless (short naps only make me want more sleep). You home school and obviously keep amazing records, plus your children are diligent in regard to their schoolwork and of course chores. You and Tom are an amazing team. Kudos all around. I recall your reasoning for not monetizing your channel. I totally respect that decision. Have you ever considered contacting Amazon re having a link in your description to a store of your own? You and you alone select the items in your store. No one pays a penny more for anything. If items on your list are purchased via your link you would receive a small percentage of each purchase. Since you have always willingly shared links to your sources it would enable you to benefit - even if just small amounts. I am not associated with Amazon, I placed one order there years ago. But I see many channels that have a link to their own Amazon store and thought it might be worth mentioning. Of course Tom could include computes and cameras and such utilized on your channel, possibly his channel, too. Since your channel helps so many people, especially those with large families searching for bulk purchases for their families, it might help defray a few costs throughout the years. The fact that items you already provide links for would be the only items in your store gives you full control would certainly appeal to me.
I love how you keep the spirit of Christmas without tons of gifts. I was at my brothers house and they had so many presents the kids got tired if opening, refused to open all and we're unappreciated of what they got.
Your genuine excitement over Christmas fun is so contagious! As the years go by I just want Christmas and all the stress to be over, but this video made me feel it's really a special time to enjoy. Thank you! 🎄🥁📯
What thoughtful gifts....love the aprons for the girls. The stocking items are unique and I wouldn't have thought to take the items out of the box & wrap separately that is a great idea. Y'all have a Blessed day and thank you for sharing your ideas.
I love your family and how it doesn't matter how much you spend on Christmas as long as it comes from the heart and it's actually gifts that they will enjoy more than an hour . Also I pretty lucky that my husband loves board games and he writes a lists of games he sees in UA-cam that he wants just so he doesn't forget and that's were I get all my gift ideas from for him .I have been made fun for buying him board games since his an adult but if it's something he loves and as long as he is happy that's all that matters . It just proves to me that if we ever are blessed with a child he will be an amazing dad because he is such a kid at heart and loving
You are the best! The slime is genius. Love the jelly and calendar idea. Cute aprons, love the idea of unwrapping the items for the stockings. Thank you Andrea, I appreciate you friend.❤️🎄
Good choice with the Dessert Decorator pro! We have one at my house and it works so great to frost and fill things. You guys will enjoy it and get a lot of use out of it!
You are AMAZING. I have no idea how you get so much accomplished and look so beautiful doing it. I couldn't get half as much done in double the time! You are definitely at the top of my hero list! Thank you for sharing your family. Cheers from Kentucky!
You are amazing. On top of everything else you've done to get ready for Christmas , you found the time to make three aprons for the girls. Incredible. Some day I would like you to make a video on "a day in the life of Andrea." You could show us how you plan your day, how you prioritize your tasks, how you complete your tasks and how you cook the meals. I consider myself organized but when I see all you accomplish I realize that I've got a long way to go. Blessings dear friend!
I love your ideas, traditions, process and philosophy on Christmas gifts. I love doing stockings for the children I nanny for and I too open up gift sets to split up to share... especially my family with four girls (triplets and an older sister)
your kids are pieces of gold im glad you spend money on them they are worth it. glad your not super frugal. they are some beautiful kids personality wise... and are well mannered you treat them with so much respect.
*I love the Christmas slime! How fun! My kids would love receiving that as a gift. And I love that your husband keeps an ongoing list...mine has an amazon list for the same purpose. He's the hardest to shop for!*
Yes, hubby is so hard to buy for. Mine likes fishing and hunting. I have no clue about any of his gear. I give him a gift card to tacklewarehouse.com and bassproshops.com and cabelas.com. I can never go wrong with those three. As a standing joke in the family, I buy him underwear and socks every year because his mom always did when he lived at home, and I've kept the tradition going since she passed away in 2000. He doesn't think it's as funny as the rest of us. :)
For my entire 8 year relationship my boyfriend has always wanted an acoustic guitar but we couldn't ever afford it this year my father finally found 1 I could afford so we bought it but I also bought him a toy 1 from dollar tree I'm going to give him first and tell him I couldn't afford a real 1
Looks like some great gifts for everyone! Making the cousins slime is a great idea and so much better than the slime you can buy in the store! I bet they smell amazing! I got my almost 8 year old daughter some of those cooking sets too! I think she’ll love them. I also got them for super cheap on sale! Best way to get gifts!
Oh, Andrea, those aprons are absolutely precious! They remind me of my first apron, sewn by my grandma. I've done a lot of cooking since then, lol, but my love for it was started with the gift of that apron, and the time she spent teaching me how to cook. I believe the sweet gifts you have planned to give your girls will foster a love for cooking with them, too. You're going to have a wonderful Christmas! By the way, what is your Christmas list?
For the calendar idea a super super time saver is mailing labels. Then use a label making software to add the kids names, dob, and age. Then boom prints at one time on one sheet. More than one if you need it. You can even squeeze 2 kids info on one label. One kid on each side. Save the template. Next year go through all you have to edit is the child’s age. Then you could if you wanted add other family members special days too. Anniversary, bday etc. then stick on the calendars. The initial year uou make them its sorta time consuming. But years after it’s not. You change the ages and number of years marries etc. then stick on the appropriate day. It’s also a task older children could help with, sticking the labels. Also my handwriting is super sloppy and I can’t write fast due to a past stoke. But even at normal speeds this is faster then handwriting each one.
I hope that some will take inspiration that going into debt is not the way to celebrate Christmas. I cringe when I see some people who spend 100s and 1000s of dollars on children. I learned from my younger sister who had two children before I had my son. Her and her partner's belief was to always spend smart and to never go over the top. Their reasoning was simple- if you spend $100s this year, what happens if circumstances change, a job is lost, a tragedy of some sort, how do you explain to your children that Santa could bring them 30 things last year but can only bring 1 or 2 this year? It really made me think and I decided to go the same route with my son. I guess I would just hope that everyone be at peace.
I agree that people shouldn’t go into debt at all for Christmas! I think budgeting throughout the year is key along with not spending too much. We just have a 2 year old daughter. We have wealthy family that will always get her nice, new things, but I think people should keep in mind that thrifting (even for gifts, not just clothes) is an option! We’ve been able to find wonderful toys at thrift stores in nice neighborhoods. No one ever knows the difference!
Yes! One of my favorite gifts ever was a vintage hat a sister bought me. My entire family is HUGE on thrift store gifting. We d't try to hide it either as you win bragging rights if you saved the most! LOL I have two Facebook groups I belong to where the owners are extreme couponers and clearance shoppers. I LOVE that I can get incredible deals and NOT have to go into the stores! I have seven grand nieces and nephews and two other younger folks in the family that I was able to buy quality presents for and total cost was less than $50 for all of them!
I keep forgetting to tell you Andrea I also love Anna White from Alaska gret little family and that house they built is so beautiful with the views for miles loved your Christmas haul great gifts the children will love them xx Mae from Oxford, England
I used to have to tell my husband that he couldn't buy anything for himself about a month before Christmas or his birthday because he always seemed to go get what ever it was that I had planned to get him, about a week or so before the holiday.
You are looking so lovely😁. I think you presents are so thoughtful! My husband is an Electronics Engineer, I totally get your present's dilemma! Lol. Merry Christmas and God's blessing in the New Year!
I have 4 children. We do 4 presents. When they were little it was 3 presents representing the wise men's gifts and a present from mom and dad. Now that they are teenagers and exploring their own ideas of life. We go by this 4 present thought. 1. Something they want 2. Something they need 3. Something they wear 4. Something they can read It simplified shopping and helped us stay on budget.
I love all these ideas. My girls are 20, 17, and 15. They have so much stuff that I really wanted to either make all their presents this year or give experience gifts but it didn't happen. Maybe next year.
Love the three little aprons, very sweet. I liked that sewing basket over your shoulder also, is it an antique? My mom and grandmother we're sewists, so when you sew for your family it makes me remember those days, and I smile.😊
The little wicker sewing basket on the shelf belonged to my great grandmother. She kept it for mending. (She had 14 children, so I'm sure there was plenty of that to do!) The little pink sewing machine was my mom's childhood toy.
I have the hardest time thinking of gifts to give my, well was boyfriend, but now we are engaged!! So this year, he's receiving a monitor to connect to his laptop so it's easier for writing code, and a record player since his is broken. His stocking stuffers consist of a new tooth brush, deodorant with matching spray, a beard oil care kit thing, a travel beard brush, and I'll throw in some protein bars and treats!
Andrea just to let you know I'm posting off some little Christmas gifts (and baby girl gift) this week. I meant to do it much earlier but time got away.... I'm afraid with the postal rush and the fact it will be travelling from Wales the package probably won't get to you now until after Christmas but I suppose better late than never!
The stockings we had were getting too small, so I made everyone new stockings using fleece. I used some trim from my Grandma's sewing basket for the kids.
I have half as many kids and living in Southern California is expensive, so I know about budgeting for Christmas. I made a video hoping to help with inexpensive gifts. I love the aprons! You could sell those on etsy. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
Great gifts :0) Great minds think alike ! Iam making slime for my nieces and nephews too , Christmas tree, candy cane and frozen to hide there money in. 😝
My husband is the WORST to buy for because he never really wants much of anything, and if he does want something he just buys it. You've talked before (maybe last Christmas??) about your system with Tom and I set my husband up to do the same thing. He said what a great idea it was and seemed really open to it, but then he's never added a single thing to it, despite occasional reminders. So... I guess I need a different system. At least I tried! :D
There's going to be lots of happy kids on Christmas in your house!!! I miss buying toys, although I do have my 2 nephews who are 2 and 4, but my daughter is 16 and is into vinyl records (which is cool), books, some clothes, and games, but that's about it. She's easy but also hard if that makes sense. I started wrapping today which I always love doing! If I was going to send your family a package, how would I go about doing that?
I am enjoying your videos! I have mainly watched your school ones-I have used ACE with my kids for 19 years of homeschooling. As I was watching this video, I noticed you said Tom’s older daughter.... I didn’t know he had an older daughter. So is this your stepdaughter? Love love your blogs!!!
Tom was married briefly before I knew him. He and his ex-wife were very young and everyone thought it would be best for their daughter to live in a two-parent family so she was adopted by Tom's aunt and uncle who were unable to have children. I don't necessarily consider her a stepdaughter just because we've never had that sort of relationship. She's always known who Tom is and has had a relationship with him, but it's been more of a cousin relationship rather than a father-daughter relationship. Sometimes people here on UA-cam have felt offended on her behalf that Tom doesn't count her when he says how many children he has. Tom's aunt and uncle find _that_ offensive because she's _their_ daughter and has been for over 20 years. They recently moved about 45 minutes from us (rather than 1,200 miles away as it's been all this time) so we're happy that we get to see her more and have her be more a part of our family.
She was such a blessing to this earth. So missed and loved
I was just thinking this very thing.
This made me cry because even though it’s not the flashiest presents, you actually pay attention to their interests and do what you can with what you have. You can tell you really care about your children and you’re such a genuine person I’m so happy I found your channel :)

I’ve never seen such a loving mother, wife, daughter, daughter-in-law and Aunt! 🤍 Teaching me to just be BETTER 🤍
Love watching “what I got my kids for Christmas” videos, it’s so interesting to see what everyone’s kids like :)
Lucky children. A lot of fun to be had at your house.
The work required for these videos😮right down to the description box and links. Great job Andrea, I can only imagine how happy they all were😊
Thank you for taking the time to create videos for us! Always grateful for what you share with us.
Andrea was a beautiful wonderful caring loving lady! Always will be miss In our hearts forever! Hugs Liz x
Those little aprons are so cute

LOVE THE SLIME GIFTS! This is what Christmas "gifts" should be. A gift, made with love from the heart!

I love the idea of splitting up packs and wrapping bits individually, little ones seem to like the opening best!
I’ve been looking forward to this video all year!!

I thought Eden was older than 7. She is wise beyond her years!
My favorite things are the homemade gifts. The aprons are perfect for your girls, and the cousins will love the slime.
You are the best! The slime is genius. Love the jelly and calendar idea. Cute aprons, love the idea of unwrapping the items for the stockings. Thank you Andrea, I appreciate you friend.❤️🎄
I absolutely love the slime! How cool is that? I think I'll be stealing this idea for my nieces and nephews too.
Good choice with the Dessert Decorator pro! We have one at my house and it works so great to frost and fill things. You guys will enjoy it and get a lot of use out of it!
Andrea really thought the gifts for her children. I am new to this channel. God bless them .
The aprons are SO CUTE! I like the system you have, especially the group toys (something they can do together). Great job!!
You are AMAZING. I have no idea how you get so much accomplished and look so beautiful doing it.
I couldn't get half as much done in double the time!
You are definitely at the top of my hero list!
Thank you for sharing your family.

Great gifts. I'm loving the slime idea! We always put toothbrushes in our kids stockings too. Surprisingly, they are always super excited about it!
Love your gift ideals . I always do something to read, something to wear, something to play with and a family gift. I enjoy your channel. God bless!

Beautiful aprons!! You're very talented!
Hi Andrea! 🙋
Awesome presents, I bet they'll be over the moon!
This is making me so excited to see their reactions on Christmas morning!!
I loved watching this video. I don't have a husband or kids but I enjoy watching you and your family!
MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY....GOD BLESS YOU. !!

Andrea, you are super mom! I love those little aprons you made for the girls. So cute! 💕
Thanks for sharing this video,it helps get ideas for things to buy my kids 💕
Those slimes are so cool.
I mean unfortunately Andrea did spend hundreds of dollars on presents - just she has 8 kids :).
I spend the same amount equally on all 3 of my kids. so if I spend 300 on one.... I spend 300 on each.
she saves money threw out the year to spend on Christmas but I agree no one should ever go into debt for gifts
I agree that people shouldn’t go into debt at all for Christmas! I think budgeting throughout the year is key along with not spending too much. We just have a 2 year old daughter. What cool gifts!!! Great ideas. Thanks. Love your family. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄❤️❤️Donna Those little aprons are adorable too!!
Love your ideas, especially your homemade gifts for extended family. Thanks for sharing!!

I hope we get to watch everyone shop for Secret Santa again this year.
I enjoyed your video and it adds to my excitement for Christmas! You have wonderful ideas! It looks like you will have a lovely Christmas!

The stockings we had were getting too small, so I made everyone new stockings using fleece. I used some trim from my Grandma's sewing basket for the kids.
i find it really difficult to think of gift ideas! You've done great. If you ever find time I'd love to see a tutorial for the aprons
Nice gifts! Good job. Merry Christmas!
Really helpful ideas. you look so pretty with your hair up!
Thank u for the camera and memory card idea. I ordered one for my son whos 12 and also has a youtube channel!
Loved this video. Hope you guys have a merry Christmas. Love watching you guys. Have you guys ever thought about building a screened in porch ?
I have half as many kids and living in Southern California is expensive, so I know about budgeting for Christmas. I made a video hoping to help with inexpensive gifts. I love the aprons! You could sell those on etsy. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
Love everything!!! Do you sell your aprons??? I want some for my girls!
I love your hair pulled back!
lol at the opening!! wondered how you would navigate that!!
Great gifts :0) Great minds think alike ! Iam making slime for my nieces and nephews too , Christmas tree, candy cane and frozen to hide there money in. 😝
I love a good haul video! This is fab!
Cute ideas for the slime.
What lovely gifts 🎁 , XX
Lovely
Love them
thank u andrea
There's going to be lots of happy kids on Christmas in your house!!! I miss buying toys, although I do have my 2 nephews who are 2 and 4, but my daughter is 16 and is into vinyl records (which is cool), books, some clothes, and games, but that's about it. She's easy but also hard if that makes sense. I started wrapping today which I always love doing! If I was going to send your family a package, how would I go about doing that?
Traci, that's so thoughtful of you to send something! Our address is in the description of every video so you can find it any time you want to.
I love the slime thing
Merry Christmas , here have slime!! Love it! ;)
I have a quick question do you have designated seats for your kids in the car
