The thing is, I understand the mindset that Zaid has. Likewise, it was obvious that he would roll with that assumption he has, and say something like "You don't have to be worried about how you look." because that's actually what he thinks is "wrong" with virgins and he thinks that he's the perfect guy to inspire them to be "better" and get out there and have sex. He also clearly got offended when Zaid implied that sex might hold someone back. Just the mere fact that he decided his persona was going to be a sad virgin drives home the fact that he thinks being a virgin is sad, and he needs to cheer virgins up and help them stop being virgins. In other words he thinks he's better than virgins, and he's being patronizing.
