@@StevieWyatt you captured it beautifully in your video. It’s so portable, versatile (stand, kneel, sit on a cooler box and use kayak paddle even), easy to portage past locks or shallows, but mostly it’s the wonderful vantage point for me. When the water is clear it can feel like your on a magic carpet or something, just gliding over the surface looking down at the river bed. I’m addicted
I just bought one a few weeks ago from Decathlon but I haven't had the chance to use it yet, as I have been ill. I'm looking forward to getting out on the water with it. As regards the leg leash, I bought the coiled version, as I heard the straight version had a tendency to kink. I also bought Decathlon's X100 kayak, after watching your review. I've been out in it once since I bought it, prior to becoming ill and I enjoyed it. Hoping to have more fun with both when I'm feeling well again. Good review, nicely photographed.
Thanks very much Steven. Yeah I think the coiled leash is a good choice for this type of paddling, the straight ones are better for playing in the surf. Get well soon
I have the 11ft x100 sup and it’s was great at full price at £200 it’s a steal. Used it on both Coniston and Derwent water and it was great. So impressed by the drop stich tech I bought the x100 kayak which is also awesome bought in France it’s nearly £100 cheaper.
Love the Columbo reference near the end 🤣. My wife has just got a SUP so I may see if I can try hers! Currently trying to persuade her that I need the x500 over a hardshell 🤣🤣🤣. Cheers for another great vid
nice little video stevie my mate has just given me a paddle board so going to christen her tomorrow on the river ivel, love your stuff stevie cheers russell
Thanks. Yes the lifejacket is comfortable, I've used it kayaking many times. I might be having a belt style self inflating bouyancy aid specifically for SUP's on the way so I'll make a video looking at the different options
I bought surf iSUP from it's been such a terrible experience. The first sup they sent had an issue, and they exchanged it. Shipped another one, which also had issues. The third one they sent is the worst. I guess they don't want my money.
Great to see you on a paddle board. This is an exciting development on this channel
I've been meaning to try it for a while, love it!

Emily and I just bought two of these down in Christchurch and are loving them - great recommendations Stevie as ever!
Thanks for heads up about the price drop Steve. I just went and bought the 11ft one, well pleased with it. Great video too.
Thanks Anthony, it's an absolute steal for what you get
I call you Mr Decathlon, thanks for your great content and channel!
Thanks!

Two of my favourite lakes in the UK!
Bought the 10ft one, pretty impressed so far
Your review of the x500 kayak helped me decide to purchase it. Now I am thinking this would be fun too 😅
The X500 is great for touring, paddle board perfect for a quick evening paddle when you don't have much time. Fun to do with friends too

Thanks Tim 😃
This is great, although I was half convinced you’d end up in the river again! The stability looks great, definitely going to give SUPing a go.
I'm amazed I didn't fall in knowing what I'm like!
We bought them both on the strength of your video and used the links 👍
Awesome, enjoy 🙂
Great video, definitely would love to see some camping on a sup videos please. There’s not enough sup adventure on UA-cam
My next video will be a SUP camp 😁
@@StevieWyatt yes! My man

Thanks Russell, enjoy the new board
Excellent video!
Thanks!
Great video! I would like to see one for the life jacket review! I was looking to buy one as well for the sup. Is that one confortable?

I just bought an itiwit paddle today and I can't get my head around it. Surely the concave bit is meant to fit the other direction?

I’m 100kg what am I best with the 10’ or 11’
I know they are two completely different things all together, but what’s more fun and has a better feel ? kayaks or paddle boards
Im split between the two and cannot make my mind up 😳😳😳
Like your videos. might buy my first itiwit kayak
Thanks, just go for it! There's nothing like being on the water, and this is the summer to do it
You re the best 👍
Bunk-off work lol😅.
