    @Matisse stop lying, there were more than 5 good matches. Most of the inconsistent performances was due to injuries, inexperience, poor finishing before poor coaching. The mistakes were expected, and Thiago Silva said same in his interview with ESPN Brazil. Both Tuchel and Poch needed time to make mistakes, learn and improve with their squad but several fans and these clowns as owners don't get it. There are no quick fixes with kids!

      Look at the team Pep inherited cmon man, one of the greatest teams of all time. It’s not remotely the same. A young manager taking over an experienced squad with some sprinkles of youth works. Our team is entirely inexperienced, if everyone from ownership down to the ball boy at the club have never won a trophy before (outside of chilwell and Reece), do they really know what it takes? Who’s going to teach them? A better example is Jose in his first stint, young manager who had won with young team. He dominated but experience was needed.

  • @ShinnaDEW

    Im not sure if i should laugh or cry when listing to MIZ during the show. Mate your knowledge about business seems damn low. The owners do care a lot about the success of the club. Let me explain why. Its pretty easy after all...
    They bought CFC for an initial fee of 2,5bil Pounds. By contract they are bound to invest into the team and structur(stadium, training ground etc.) another 2bil. So the invest is 4,5bil Pounds right? If you pump 4,5bil into the finance market you expect at least a 3% anual profit margin. If we accumulate these numbers for the 10yrs the owners cant take dividense nor sell the club we end up close to 6bil. 2,5bil for the club. 2bil further invest and almost 1,5bil lost profit.
    So if the club cant be sold for a bare minimum of 6bil after those 10yrs it was a bad investment. If you cant sell it for at least 4,5bil you lost money. So if the club had no success during these 10years do you believe someone would be willing to pay 6bil for it? You wont increase the value of the club by a factor of 2,4(2,5bil initial vs. 6bil) over 10years without the team winning trophies or titles. And at some point in the future these owners want to cash out on their investment. Thats the nature of these cooperations. The pure reason of existance.

    • @Ripking91
      @Ripking91 23 дні тому +2

      Unfortunately though from a business valuation perspective it doesn’t matter if the club is winning or not. The key element will be cash flows, which they can generate with a bigger stadium and further commercial inroads in marketing/ branding, tv rights and player sales . A good example is Tottenham, be around top 4 so your stature in the game does not decrease and then continue to generate cash flows and churn players for profits. The club’s valuation will increase over a 10 year period (3% is like inflation over that time, it will be more than that). Effectively it’s a brand investment than a football one. As a football fan this sucks, PE’s can sometimes run companies into the ground. The only thing that will drive “winning” on a football level will be the ego of owners/board, they will not want to be embarrassed and will want to have some success to show for their decisions, to look smart, etc.

    • @ClixCFC
      @ClixCFC 23 дні тому +2

      Ok thats your opinion now lets listen to mine on why owners dont care about winning with evidence, owners before joining chelsea stated its not about winning its about ammorising and making profits, The owners at the start called us fans then after 2 years they called us customers so thats in the bin too, The owners said we want to change the u25 model but went against it and brought in a 17 year old and going for more kids, Owners stated we will be winning prems in 5 years when they came in but recently they ve come out and said it depends on the bs data, the owners were sent an email on what is the plan with the squad you brought in and where are chelsea are headed they aired the email whilst evidence show they ve seen them and then used pr to bash those that were curious😂 now tell me where do you see us winning a prem or a ucl with these owners its impossible im sick of it all, only us fans can force them to change the model or get them out and dont give me the bs that they are stuck for 10 years if that was the case they were also told not to take money from the club yet you have todd earning 20M a year equaling to 200M stolen from chelsea there goes the clause😂

    Matisse seems like the only level headed creator on this panel, he talks the most sense. Younes and Miz are starting to sound unbearable each passing day. How can you go from making videos every single day moaning about wanting Pochettino to get sacked for 90% of the season then change your stance just because we won 5 games. Not even a month ago, when we got battered against Arsenal, those two wanted both the players and the manager out. If you wanted him out at any point of the season, you shouldn't have any complaints with him leaving.
    They asked for this sacking all season, now that it's actually happened, it's a war crime for the pair. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Almost like they actively look to find ways to have a moan about the ownership just because they have opinions set about them.

    There are so many mangers in past and recent times that have done amazing as young up and coming. Many have forgotten Roman tried this method AVB and Frank Lampard.
    There are young next gen managers that amazing and there is nothing wrong with trying them.
    It does get to a point when managers are no more in style and need to adapt their ideas to exciting footballs.
    Yes TT could do it but Jose is a huge doubt.
    They will need to be more flexible on style of play. Don’t want to see Wingers as WingBacks destroying their talent.
    Sir Alex came from What club to manage Utd?? Pep start manage what team before Barca.
    At some point this is going to happen and it’s luck of the draw honestly and if Chelsea strike Gold many will give flowers to the work done.
    Yes Poch should have stayed 1 more season cause there are managers out there that young and better than this shortlist and they need 1 more season themselves.

    Moreover, the board, who are making the decisions now, cannot be judged for all of the managerial appointments made since Tuchel. The board have only appointed Poch, the next manager will be their second appointment. They came in after Potter.

    Miz arsenal point is invalid. Arsenal had a stadium to pay off, so they had to sell their best assets every season. And Arsenal never spent 100m on players to sell them on (this is where chelsea will lose money)
    Chelsea didn’t have to adopt the arsenal approach, mainly because they don’t have a stadium to pay off…. But the Arsenal model is one of the most efficient models

Would love to have a discussion with the panel because i feel like there's so much context missing and so many disingenuous arguments about everything. Listen i don't like what the sporting directors have done with the appointment of Poch. But has anyone ever thought that maybe Poch did exactly what Mah said and lied? Look at how he sold US fans snake oil in the beginning of the season! Look at what he did at the end! Based on that football and the end result the recruitment got the hire right didnt they? Poch has a lot more to blame on this than what is being said on the panel.

      @@nickmatv791When pep leaves what do you think they’ll do? Or even Madrid with Ancellotti? Get an ‘experienced manager’ like Jose or Enrique or Flick? Course they won’t. Top clubs acknowledge that football is changing and are preparing for that. New managers are emerging and clubs are looking to capitalise. Young managers who are in it for the long run need to take their first big club opportunity at some point. Look at liverpool with Slot. If he comes in and Liverpool remain a top club I don’t want to hear anything about ‘experience’ ever again. The guys on this pod are deluded if they genuinely don’t believe that any of the coaches on our shortlist can’t come in and do well. As well as that saying they’d rather have a manager with ‘experience’ when their tactical outlook of the game is outdated. Honestly so clueless. Fans don’t know what they want until something is given to them and they realise they like/dislike it, me included. So why right off McKenna, Thomas Frank or Di Zerbi when they could come in a prove us all wrong

    Yo, listen up! I've got the perfect solution for these owners. Instead of wasting time and money hiring a new manager, why don't they just step up and become the managers themselves? Next season, let's give Eghbali a shot. If that doesn't work, we can try Boley the season after. Problem solved! If they want to have a say in how the team plays and who's in the starting lineup, this is the best way to do it.

We have already been to a few cup finals in two years. We have technically changed our whole squad since they came on board and we are starting to see how special this team can be. Poch stabilize the team now we can get a coach that can carry the team forward.

Because in the last 5, we are joint top of the table. Then saying we were 10 most of the season is the same as saying city were 3 most of the season.
