Much respect to FAMU. They are regularly on the schedule. I don't believe they've ever "ducked" Miami like some other teams have. They rarely beat the Canes, but still play them. Yes, it's a big paycheck for a small school. But it's more than that. It's integrity. They have it. They also have one of the greatest bands and halftime shows in all of college football. FAMU is a great Florida school.
I myself would love to go to the home games but I simply cannot afford it 😢 that’s the only reason I don’t go.. so I never miss a game from tv.. go canes.. Hurricane 🌀 for life
People don’t understand the cost of living in Miami including me. We all love Miami and they know fans all over the world is supporting them afar and want them to succeed badly. It’s been a long time far to long for Miami not be Miami. They should have never lost their local talent and Mario is putting a grip on Miami putting up that fence around Miami
As the team keeps winning more people will show up. If we are undefeated for the Virginia Tech game I think it will be a better showing from the fans. I was at the game but Im a die hard fan, and the majority of fans in Miami can be bandwagon fans.
Shame on the old AD for allowing FAMU to be their home opener. Nothing against FAMU, but for your home opener... Not an exciting game. I'm surprised Miami had that many fans at the game. Play a UCF at home or a USF. An opponent that will generate a little more excitement smh
Games like this is where the admin needs to allow all the schools to let the kids go for free. It will pay off when a five star signs because he remembers the team giving back and his first game. What good does an empty seat do? middle school and highschool kids could have got a ticket.

If by rarely you mean once in ‘79 then that’s it. They’re 1-12 against the U
@@DJMetiMajor I think that qualifies as rarely. One less would be "never". But I did wrongly think they played each other more often, though.
Bethune cookman as well. It alternates every year. @@thejdgoodwin
@@thejdgoodwin 1-12 = rarely lol
Fun Fact: FAMU is also the best team in Tallahassee.
These cinematic videos are unbelievable. Let’s hope we have another 13 of these 🙌🏻
