They had collars on. It makes me wonder if they were actually abandoned or not. Yes they were malnourished but that also seems to tell me that someONE might also be stuck out there. Ranger should've called for an airlift to search.
They had harnesses on, they are already someone’s dogs. I wouldn’t assume abandonment. Might want to check around for a dead climber. Idk, the scenario seems strange to me.
I wouldn't assume that these people are just assuming that either. They were there. Also, you're pointing out that they had harnesses on, but that was obvious. That's how they knew they had owners previously and weren't strays. If they still had owners that cared, they would have been claimed. True, the owner could be dead, but no one has come forward about the dogs or any missing persons. A dead hiker seems far less likely than abandonment.
to top all of it off, what if the rescuers were actually doing all of this to get attention and to make a youtube vid? What if they themselves owned those dogs. That seems to me the most likely scenario.
he didnt "risk his life". he is an experienced climber and it was easy for him. that is like saying someone who drives a car is "risking his life" haha
Yeah, sadly we will never know. But anyone of those is a possibility. It is kind of curious tho that they happened to find them and just film the whole thing, if it were me I wouldn’t be worried about filming the situation just getting the dogs to safety. Who knows I don’t like to judge but it does seem a tad suspicious.
Brody deserves to be acknowledged for his remarkable courage and skill in so effectively daring to take the risk he does in order to rescue these very lucky dogs...What a man!
I have the goosebumps and my eyes are watering... How did those dogs get there? If those humans had not been there to hear their cries for help that would not have ended well for those two precious dogs. And humans with the skill to be able to rappel to them and save them! And they just happen to have food and fresh water... What Lifesavers! And they get their forever homes! What a beautiful account. What wonderful people. And what amazing dogs. ~❣️
Yes, abandoning is a possibility but I feel like if that was the case they wouldn't have harnesses or that chain collar. Maybe another hiking accident?
Those people who “abandoned” the dogs must have a good reason for abandoning them, I mean if they didn’t want the dogs then just give it up to an adoption
Crystal yes, hopefully I won’t abandon my dogs in the future but I doubt I’ll ever actually abandon an animal, but right now I can’t get a dog because of where I am
It looks from the video, that he didn't need ropes until he walked down to the level the dogs were at. So they likey walked/slid down the same way he did, but got stuck and didn't know to go back up - the bigger dog easily walked back along the narrow ledge. Guess easier to repel down, or made for a cooler video on their social media.
I just realized this was uploaded on my birthday! They rescued dogs that were stuck in a mountain and gave them forever homes! No dog is too lost for the kind hearted souls on this planet. It warms my heart so much to see these 2 doggies safe and sound!

Connor Vasquez Dogs are pack animals because they're descended from wolves. The other dog looked slightly kelpie-ish but you can’t be sure. Not really sure where you got Aussie doggos from but it doesn’t seem to actually be here
Whoever abandoned them has no heart at all! 😤
It's a shame but true, it's cruel, when it's so simple to drop a dog off at the shelter
We found 3 puppy skeletons on the bottom of a cliff on a beach, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what happened to them 😠😔
DAMAGE INC. nice b8 m8
I'm sorry
@DAMAGE INC. Seriously. A racist always finds a way. Idiot, black people don't hike, nor do they rock climb....the last sentence is a sarcastic comment, showing how dumb one can be if they use race to justify reasons for why things are the way they are. Race has nothing to do with it, it's the morals that people value. Period.
People do not think when they abandon animals.
A very special thank you to the rescue crew. You heard the call and you stopped to take action.
You Rock!
❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️
WOW talk about being in the right place at the right time.....Universe sent this man and lady to rescue these poor fur babies.....so so happy all turned out perfect
To the couple who rescued the dogs, you guys ROCK!
And this is why I don't start my day with the Dodo; because I always cry!
Whomever left these puppers are monsters.
Thank goodness we have phenomenal people like these two whom gave these puppers a second chance they deserve
I wish we could hear about this amazing stories on the news. These type of situations that involve love, humanity and kindness...need to be shown more often....love is contagious. It’ll be good for all of us. Blessings to these wonderful two human beings....
You are so right!
Those dogs seemed so grateful to be saved. You could see it on their faces. They had me smiling and wanting to hold them!
Thank you for saving them. So glad he even saw them. Look at the color of their coats. They blend in pretty well. Could you imagine if he hadn't seen them? The scorching hot days without water. Then, it's even worse by night, freezing cold without shelter. This story is an absolute miracle.
There’s no way I would have left them at the shelter 😂 I would have been like “yeah you’re mine now. Forever.” I love dogs so much 😭
Same, I'd find a way lol
Me too. I tried to foster a dog knowing that I would be a failure. I am the happiest foster failure ever!!!
right! they are so happy about saving the dogs but they put them in a shelter! lucky them dogs found a sweet person to take them home or they would be dead from the shelter
@@Qelai Those dogs would have gone to anyone. They were near death. I couldn't have let them go.
@@kevynmarkowitz1594 Lol same, even did all the papers and applications to be a foster family and the second we see the dog we were supposed to foster we were just like well, we have the papers ready anyway so just a slight change of plan, sorry lads but we keep this one lol.
Wow that guy is an absolute superhero! 🥰❤️❤️
Bless this couple for their humanity and going through such an effort to save the precious dogs.
I love how he introduces himself to the dogs.
God clearly put you there, in that exact moment, an experienced climber to save those sweet fur babies - no such thing as coincidence - God Bless you both - there are more good people on this earth than bad - cheers from Canada
TOTALLY! YaY!!!
God let the dogs almost starve?
@@drunkkhajit5035 No, God let those dogs be found - God does not control the evil in a person's heart - cheers
@@m.corege9726 he let them be put in a position where they went through a traumatic event. If he's so powerful he could have prevented the whole thing
If he exists he's no god of mine. He's sadistic
There is serendipity.
They had collars on. It makes me wonder if they were actually abandoned or not. Yes they were malnourished but that also seems to tell me that someONE might also be stuck out there.
Ranger should've called for an airlift to search.
Nick Walker
No talk about a possible human in trouble? Maybe a person is dead?
The ranger probably did, the video just didn't mention it.
I was thinking maybe the got lost and their families looked and couldn't find them so have up, but who the hell would give up
The shelter makes sure the dogs aren't chipped. If they are chipped, they'll always call the owners first.
Who cares
I don't know how they got there but lucky this couple was able to rescue them. Thank GOD for people like this couple. GOD BLESS THEM
God Bless this couple! We need more kind souls like them in the 🌎
How can someone abandon their dogs when shelters are everywhere. People are horrible sometimes.
Yeah, and why would they? Maybe it wasn't intentional
@@CemeteryDriveClown You may be right, but people do it intentionally all the time.
You two are awesome. I can only imagine how scared those two pups were being stranded there and with no food or water.
Hats off to you sir. To be so kind hearted in saving these dogs.
They had harnesses on, they are already someone’s dogs. I wouldn’t assume abandonment. Might want to check around for a dead climber. Idk, the scenario seems strange to me.
Gregory Kadok you said that so casually like it’s normal lol 😂
@@BenStro it is pretty normal.
That seems to me the most likely scenario.
awfully careful planning of camera as opposed to the actual urgent rescue of the doggos.
That guy is so brave, he risked his life to save those dogs. He is a true hero.
he didnt "risk his life". he is an experienced climber and it was easy for him. that is like saying someone who drives a car is "risking his life" haha
@@alabarjhoni9742 sooo cynical, your sad..haha
The rescue is wonderful but the situation makes me extremely curious as to how they got in such a predicament.
Since maybe people hike there I assume, somebody probably lost their dogs, the dogs ran away and end up there, or just abandoned.
GOD BLESS YOU GUYS FOR SAVING THEM. YOU ARE BOTH TRUE HEROS!!
I can't even believe they ended up on that cliff! So sweet of these folks to go get them and make sure they got to safety.
Oh yeah let’s quickly *_Leave our dogs on a cliff._*
Thank you for saving them the people who left them there don’t deserve to live or own a dog
I agree - they DON'T deserve to live.
It’s also possible that they weren’t abandoned but that the owner died while climbing.
@Evil Sharkey maybe
What a fantastic kind hearted man to rescue those sweet dogs. God bless him and his lady. Thank you!!🐾🐾
Brody deserves to be acknowledged for his remarkable courage and skill in so effectively daring to take the risk he does in order to rescue these very lucky dogs...What a man!
~❣️
Couldn’t have said it better myself😁👍❤️🙏
I almost cry when i see how skinny they were and she been crying so much the Chihuahua
Although it's wonderful that both dogs found their Forever _homes,_ it's a shame that they were split up.
Damn right that's what I was thinking.
Was thinking the same, had hoped the rescue team would have adopted them
If they ask the shelter owner if the dogs are together, they should’ve adopt it both.
Yea that broke my heart when I heard homes
me too; I would have liked to see them together especially after what they went through side by side.
Brody and Katie, may God bless you so much for your bravery, compassion and BIG loving hearts. This world is a better place because you two are in it.
You two have such big hearts! There’s a special for people like you in heaven. 💕💕💕
I feel like there has to be more to the story behind how those dogs got there....
@Crystal I think the person might've meant that the dogs got lost during a hike and were never found or some other actually good reason
What you did was amazing!! You didn’t even hesitate... you are both wonderful humans with caring and open hearts ♥️ thanks 🙏 for being ...Jonna
I just realized this was uploaded on my birthday! They rescued dogs that were stuck in a mountain and gave them forever homes! No dog is too lost for the kind hearted souls on this planet. It warms my heart so much to see these 2 doggies safe and sound!
those dogs were smart enough to keep loudly crying when they heard people nearby so they could be rescued as they surely wd have died a slow miserable death on that cliff...
They don't look like they were in the desert for long. Maybe someone didnt feed them for a a day and put them there to perform a rescue
Goodness! Poor little puppies! Thank gosh they were rescued and found a forever home! ❤

Thank you. So much. And for your skills to carry these animals. Thank you. For stopping!!!! And Loving.
Two extremely special people with hearts of gold...love it!
They shouldn't have been separated to different homes.
Connor Vasquez you do realize dogs experience trauma so they would want to be with their best friend
@Connor Vasquez you're over ignorant
Connor Vasquez Dogs are pack animals because they're descended from wolves. Experiences such as this would create a bond between the dogs, and they were clearly bonded because the little one hid beneath the bigger dog before he realized that the rescuer could be trusted. I've got 6 dogs of my own, and my parents are professional dog trainers.
Connor Vasquez you know nothing. They’re extremely social animals just like us and super sensitive to these experiences. They bond easily.
these people scrapped their entire day to rescue stranger animals, took them to a shelter likely staffed by many volunteers and run by donations, but of course they didn't do it correctly enough for you.
Good, good hearted people! God bless you both❣️you saved their lives. Wonderful video!
There are no coincidences, you were meant to be there, divine intervention. Bless you for what you did! Thank you for the rescues!
🐾❤️🐾
It’s nice they have a home but it’s sad they were separated
I know I was thinking the same, was hoping to hear 4ever home...
I found a comment which explains a lot yet most people have not seen it.
I found this in an article on iheartdogs: "While I know most of us were hoping for the two to find their forever home together, they did end up going to two separate homes. For whatever reason, the pair did not get along once they reached the shelter. They got into some very heated fights, which lead the staff to a conclusion of finding them separate and loving homes."
God bless this selfless couple and also these two sweetheart pups.
Bless your heart guys for saving these poor dogs. You don't know how happy we are to see them both saved. Thank you for that!
Thank you for helping these dogs!!! You are so sweet! I wish they could have been adopted by the same person. I wish you could have kept them. Thank you, Angie

Oh my God… I love these people! May God bless them forever. Thank you for being the good guys

Having collars on, I would love to know how they got there!
Xenoliths XZ unlikely if that the person did fall down the people who were rescuing the dogs would’ve seen the dead body
Ye
Hell is the only place the people who abandon or hurt dogs deserve..... Also known as their empty bedrooms
Ok ma’am catfish :) u made ur day with ur stupid question
Did they check for chips?
No one would leave their sweet dogs like that on purpose.
My first concern is their owner is trapped in some ravine, dead or injured and no one thought to go looking for them or checking for a missing person! :(
Imagine how scared these dogs are. You guys are angels 😭💕
Who are those heartless people left the dogs in the canyon😕! To you my hero, thanks for saving the doggies, may you save and rescue more abandoned dogs😊 God bless!
Thank God for amazing, loving people who care enough to help these sweet fur babies. ❤️
Imagine how hard it must be for paramsan and meatball if they go to different homes considering each other was all they had🥺🥺

Dodo should find this couple and do an update! Find the rescuers and find where the dogs are now!
These dogs and this amazing couple, are meant to meet each other. What were the odds where this man comes along, who is capable and willing to save these dogs?!
♥️♥️♥️
They are both two beautiful puppies!! You were their Guardian Angels!!! I love you both for doing what you did!!
Even for an evil person who would go through all that trouble to abandon two dogs in a cliff in the middle of nowhere??
My guess is that the dogs accidentally got stuck while the owner was exploring and they couldn't get down so he/she just left them.
Pretty perplexing
I think some of these stories are staged.
@@MrFunkadeIic agreed.

Thanks for saving these precious Furbabies .. You are HEROES!! And so thankful that both of them found Forever Homes 🏡 💕
They should've had those dogs go to the same home. Just look at how they were with each other on that cliff. They should've stayed together.
Didn't end like I hoped or thought (was wanting dogs to stay w climber & his partner) but thrilled they found forever home(s). Hope they are still together & not separated.
They went to separate homes because they apparently were fighting at the shelter. Maybe after the trauma of being abandoned and starved, they began resource guarding with food.
Thank you both with all of my heart.❤
