Please tell me you can use any HDR mode to create (in camera) time lapse. And as far as that goes can the camera be in smart mode for rich tone HDR (is this done by combining pictures or just a tone curve?) Basically is there a way to get more dynamic range by using time lapse as opposed to video?

I am trying to set my NX500 to an interval capture of 1 second, with a Shutter priority. However, the fastest it can take the photos is about once ever 2.7 seconds. ??? Are you able to make it actually take photos with the intervalometer at 1 second? If so please share the magic formual? Maybe I have some other setting messed up. Thanks!

what about the fact that the camera has a buffer.. how do you factor that in.. for example low light situations that require 10 second exposure.. my problem is that the camera buffers and then also does the interval.. sorry if i worded that weird!

the timer starts as soon as your camera is done taking the shot (buffer and all). So if you're taking a long exposure (lets say 10seconds shutter), and your interval is set to every 30 seconds, and lets say it takes 5 seconds for the buffer to complete, The 30 second counter will start after 15 seconds of each shot (10 second shot + 5 second buffer).

Outside of buying more Sef580a flashes, Is there an alternative to using the flash sync with other flashes, as well as removing the sef580a flash for off camera flash sync on a NX500.

I have the same issue with an NX1. Checking to see if its the firmware as 1.30 doesn't show interval option. 1.40/is available. hoping that corrects it!

I have the nx500. I'm not seeing interval capture in the menu. Where is this located on the nx500?

Alexandria Gasaway Hello! It is located in your shooting menu under 'Interval Capture', the same as show in the video above. Please make sure you have the newest firmware updated on your NX500. Thanks!

Alexandria Gasaway I just had the same issue. You must have the camera in the "manual" setting on the top knob
