London to Barbados Travel Vlog - Part 1

We’ve finally made it out of the house, and if you’ve ever packed for a family, you know the struggle of getting everyone and everything ready. It feels like it takes forever, especially when I insist on tidying up before we leave. But we’re all packed, the house is clean, and we’re on our way! Driving to the airport has been a game changer for us-kids strapped in, bags loaded, and the convenience of valet parking makes it all so much easier. Once the car’s parked, we just hop across to check-in, and it’s smooth sailing from there.
Back when it was just the two of us, we would easily take the train across London with just a few bags. But now, with the kids and all the extra stuff, we’ve learned that driving is the way to go. Jerry is super excited about this trip, even though he’s playing it cool on the outside. We told him to watch for the plane with his name on it, which makes the journey even more fun. We’re almost there, the weather in the UK is freezing, but thankfully, we’re heading to a hot destination where the sun will be shining!
