Even if you did not understand one word of the song. Daneliya conveyed the message through her emotional performance. Like Monatik said to her she is an important messenger and she will eventually understand what he is talking about. There was not a dry in the house, or for anybody that watched this video whether they new the language or not. Bravo Daneliya
In English the name of this song is (not your war) she does such an amazing version of this song her voice can put people to the floor in tears it is very sad song. It’s about the younger generation who have lost their lives being attacked by The biggest landmass country in the world. This song has more meaning then I am Explain.Did you know that she was the youngest contestant ever to win the voice kids Around the world?
Essa menina é incrível. Ela tem essa capacidade de transbordar as emoções quando canta, apesar de muito jovem. Note-se a voz embargada ao final. E ela faz isso até hoje aos 16. Muito talento, voz viciante. Poderia reagir a "way down we go". 12 anos, primeiro show. Alucinante. Obrigada.
She also sang this song in Kazakhstan for the Ukrainian people this song is a full version and she is 16 years old singing this at this time. You may want to watch the full version of the song because it will put you to the floor and flood your eyes with tears. In this concert she also raise funds for a charitable cause to support the Ukrainians during this Russia Ukrainian war.Which is called the voice of peace concert :-) And by the way that was a great reaction and I look forward to watching your next reaction
Here is a later release of this performance with subtitles and graphics. You will notice many were crying as I am still to this day what 6 years later. Her performance was and is, still thought provoking and sincere. Oh yeah, the song at the end has a story with it. and her performance there was unbelievable. I'll leave the link to that performance too, below. ua-cam.com/video/esiad2bxx1E/v-deo.html Daneliya at 11 'Na Tvoya Viina' or, 'The War That Is Not Yours'. ua-cam.com/video/jUfXoxf7LYs/v-deo.html Daneliya at 13 'A Million Voices' sung as a favor to Paulina Gagarina at the Russian version of the 'Grammy's'.
She just turned eleven. She learned Ukraine language so she could sing two songs in Ukraine, as this show is there. They were all tearing up, and she won the show.
War that’s not yours Okean Elzy Battle at dawn. Sun and smoke. Few know how it will end. What will be in the young minds tomorrow? Someone will have hope, someone fear.
Refrain 1: Viburnum’s branches bent. Mother, to whom did we pray? How many more your children Will the war that’s not yours take?
The daughters and sons became parents, Kept seeing the colourful dreams And kissed the hands of the lies, Gave their days for the quiet nights.
Refrain 1.
It was so good there in the past, Where there was no sweat and no tears. But there was no purpose in that, I can’t be like that, and how will you be able to?!
Refrain 2: Viburnum’s branches bent. Mother, we prayed to the wrong ones! How many more your children Will the war that’s not yours take?
An amazing performance by Daneliya at this tender young age of 11 the song is "Not Your War". Fast forward July 2022 and Daneliya again performs this song at the Voice of Peace concert in support or Ukraine. @@Jay_SoulO I've left two links tied to this above with my comments. I hope you get these and follow through and listen to them. Thanks for following up on this.
The song is in Ukrainian: "Не твоя війна" "Not your war" by Океан Ельзи Daneliya's words at the end of the song: Well, maybe it is enough? I have a dream to live in a country Where we're united Where every child and every family is happy Where I can be a human Where there's no war and hatred Where we can courageously move forward Where I see light and don't see weapons Where I'm proud of you and myself... in the complete video, there is the coach commenting. translation: Monatik: It will be better to tell how it all began... When we were working on the final song I asked Danya (diminutive from Daneliya) what did she want to sing? She replied that she adores "Okean Elzy" group. And I asked her "What song do you want to sing?" She replied: "The War That's Not Yours". And I thought: "Such a little girl... Whether she can feel and understand such a complicated song? I asked her to sing and I was just flabbergasted. Daneliya, I just want to tell you, dear Daneliya Tuleshova, you have to understand that you are held responsible... As far as I understand you are now the Voice of all the children of our planet... You have a great mission here... I'm honestly sure about it... And soon you will understand how important this mission is. That is why I'm deeply honored to touch to your creativity, to work with you, it's an honor for me to be your coach in the project the Voice of Ukraine... And regardless of the outcome of this project, you can feel by every particle of your body of what is happening... On any language, you can convey what is deep down in your heart... And you are really incredible. Thank you for everything you do on this show... And God willing you will be the world's greatest star... And I'm glad that here, on the Voice of Ukraine, we have such a kid... Thank you very much!
When I watch this video for the first time with the close caption I was reading it instead of watching Daneliya but I felt every emotion that she was feeling and my eyes water throughout the whole song including the words that she filled in towards the end of the song I was floored with such an amazing talent and you can see and hear that monatic also felt the words in his heart. And I’m also grateful that MONATIKAlso has a big heart absolutely stunning. This is something that I will never forget :-)
...and even more emotional to watch now when similar real absolute horrors are happening again there in Ukraine (and so many other places/parts of the world too so unfortunately ;-/ )
