LYRICS:
Absolute. Bear witness. To the next great collapse of the human mind. Logic has been lost. Hunted down at all cost. This is the new beginning. Induce the cancellation. But down around the ground the dogs fight. Gnashing teeth snap just to be right. Occupied with choosing a side instead. Too full of pride to put aside the hatred. There’s no choice. Eat your kind. Bow to war. Self-destruct. Break it down. Question why. Every fucking human is built to self-destruct.

I like the use of bridge cables as guitar strings.
Best way to play in Drop A!
maybe if they were 8 strings in F lol
Lol did you come here from Gideon's new single? Saw a comment there about bridge cables as guitar strings and got a good kick outta that. I also hear a similarity
@@thetolkienator3653 nawh its just a joke my friend and I made a while ago haha.
you stole my joke you piece of shit
If you wanna love kublai khan more just fyi they sell dog collars so your dog can be hard af. Also the money goes towards a dog charity.

I didn’t know I needed a bass only breakdown until today. Long live KK.
gideon dropped a new one too, check that one out
Man you can hear the teeth in it
...k
Yes man!
Samuel DeHaven holy shit that was tight too! Thanks 🤘🏼
I am very drunk in the middle of Alaska, this has made my day lads.

I want to know what it feels like to have this much testosterone
Like being really angry (not mad) but often for no particular reason. Just all of the reasons. Aggressive
If he takes roids, he shoots it right in that neck
Lift heavy, hard, and often. Sleep 8+ hrs. Eat big. Stay calm, but be aggressive.

Let’s talk about that bass only breakdown... that’s probably the hardest thing I’ve heard in a while
literally it's been in my head all day lmaooooo
it literally made me search the most things to hear this song again bc I couldn't remember the band's name. straight fire
Truth. Listened to tons of heavy music never heard something quite like that so goooood
On GOD! Absolutely disgusting.
really? i thought it was completely underwhelming.
I love how the drummer just gets in that pocket and grooves the shit out of the song. Nothing fancy, but it hits so hard!
That crash only bit just before the bass breakdown was heavy as shit. Makes me want to try doing that as a drummer
Yes, dude. Yes!
Mixing and mastering can do a lot bro
it aint much , but it's honest work
Isaac is a gangsta
what vodka do you like?

Lmaooo awesome
WTF DUDE HAHAHAH
🤣🤣
This track makes me wanna to break into my own house.
Lol what
Do it you wouldn’t
Lmao this shit made me laugh so damn hard jeez!
Bahahahhaa
My bro got a B&E Felony for that. Kicked in his own door. Summarily got arrested. Not even kidding.
Waiting for the “10 hours video” of this bass’n drum breakdown
i saw this shit live in an espresso parlor in fargo and holy FUCK what a show.
Will Red Wing bro I saw then live in Brisbane with Stray From The Path: what a NIGHT!
Jesus Christ!! How has this band gone totally under my radar?! I'm 100% hooked.
SAME!!!!!!
Bros…..the whole catalog is complete insanity. Get everything. See them live at all costs
haha how the fuck can they make a part like 1:45 sound thick and make you want to destroy everythig. It's just a bass part with drums but somehow feels heavier than the thickest breakdown. Masters.
Rene tremendo gusto musical bro
Rene escucha a Knocked Loose por favor te amo!
Aguante Kublai Khan Reneeeee¡¡¡¡¡
That's the power of groove baybee
Because that shit is heavy!!!
I like the simplicity of this video. Need more of this in hardcore/metalcore/anything lol
I was thinking the same thing, there isn't that much going on (both visually and auditory) but yet it's so powerful, nice.
facts
Yes
You obviously don’t listen to much hardcore.
I disagree. The thing we need most is 200 more abandoned building music videos.
Too full of pride to put aside the hatred. Ain't that the truth
Right as soon as I was reading this comment he said the shit lol👌
Self destruct!
Jayden Davidson same wtf
Vocals:check
Bass breakdown:check
Yee:haw
the mikester show its Yee Yeee nigga!!
Folks all talking about how raging KKTX sound then you read the lyrics and they're straight up mature, intelligent social commentary. Not many bands that evangelise being a responsible, thoughtful adult. 🔥🔥🔥
Hatebreed definitely comes to mind. Check them out if you don’t know them.
@@BiteTheHookI was gonna say this before I seen your comment. Hatebreed influence is definitely to be found in their lyrics
I'm not gonna lie to you, as soon as the song begins i started twerking.
Same I’ve been listening to this and tweaking all day
Lol
Them: what kinda music you like?
Me: mostly drum and bass 1:46
Underrated comment.
One of the most underrated bands around.
1:15 me looking into my fridge at 2am
Just started getting into all this heavy music. I didnt know what i was missing this whole time. Perfect timing for the new album because your girl is going through some shit
Good luck with it, focus on yourself for a bit. You have my energy going with you.
If you don’t already listen to Knocked Loose, you might want to get on that.
Welcome sister! :D if you're in hard times checkout these two also : Hatebreed - Own Your World
End - Necessary Death
Also king 810 !
Heavy music always helped with bullshit that goes on in life
MY CHILDREN'S GRAND CHILDREN'S GRAND CHILDREN ARE GONNA FEEL THIS ONE... HOLY SHMOLY!!!
These guys are the only reason I'm proud to be from Sherman, TX...
Durant ok for me
Same man. I can’t believe a band from my hometown is so lit. I rep these guys so hard, cause they slap lmao
Check out Power Trip, you're going to be even more proud then
Everything I heard about Sherman while living in Dallas was bad. Like. Real bad.
1:46 that has got to be the most evil, sinister, disgusting bass breakdown I've ever heard, so simple yet so heavy
Fuckin love how the cinematography always centers on which part of the instrumental is at the forefront of what’s happening at each part of the song, just like how I envision a music video would be when just listening to the song without visuals. When the drum fill or drum transition is the center of focus, the video has it keyed up perfectly, and the same for the bass and vocals. Every time you’re supposed to be paying attention to any one aspect of the song, that’s the band member the video is focusing on. Fuckin beautifully scripted video and probably one of my favorite music vids because of it. Lines up with the actual notes and drums being played perfectly. Got a full blowner watching that ride cymbal close up
It's amazing the anger this band can generate to you. Astonishing sound.
guitarist: isn't playing
me: HOLY SHIT THATS HARD AF
Lol Y’all just couldn’t let Knocked Loose have their moment. Show them who runs it boys
After ripping off their riff on their new album khan had to kill em
denied by fate end breakdown is just B.C breakdown hahahaha
@@metalcovers62 I'm so glad more people are catching onto this !
@@Serpentservant91 do they have beef?
NOAH DE LOS MONTEROS i don’t really like knocked loose just bc the vocals it’s all highs and it just sounds like the sound a cat would make when getting hit with by a violin
Damnnnnn the greatest unexpected thing ever
FUUUUUCKKKK YESSSSS
Nothing technically crazy but god damn this shit still hits hard after 2 years
It’s fucking hard because of how close it hits to home!
Honestly thought this band always released very generic and samey sounding hardcore. Not that this is necessarily pushing the envelope, but I don't mind what I'm hearing. Assuming this is the first tune in Drop A?
@@PuertoRicanGrinderX Metalcore then. Whatever you want to call it.
@Celtic Pride Wow, nice retort. Really added to the conversation!
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 Drop-G#/Ab is the tuning you are looking for!
My thoughts exactly....”shut up pussy”! Lol!!!
@@7StringSlaughterNU Thought I heard a low A string. Kinda reminds me of the main riff to Phychosocial by Slipknot. They usually play in this tuning?
A breakdown with no guitar. W H A T
That bass tone is the sound of gravity hitting zero, amazing!
Just stumbled across you guys today and I gotta say.... I'm impressed. It's like Pantera and sepultura had a baby and raised it on bourbon and rare meat
Imagine having two bass players, one playing one note higher than each other... That’d be dirty
Such a unique drum sound.
Kade Kalka unique? Naw a real sounding drum sound go back to 1995-2005
You’re cute with that comment. You’ve been so used to drums that sound like movie punch effects for the last 10-12 years you don’t know what real drums sound like
colorblind101a chilllll
colorblind101a “real sounding drum sound” lmfao thanks for that I needed a good laugh
@@lukestange lol I'm just saying
5 min ago i was listening to some Joy Division in the sad mood, and then i come here and become a fucking banging mosh machine GOSH
Man i just went from sturgill Simpson to denzel curry to strike anywhere to mgla to steely dan to incendiary and now this. I'm 31 now but at 18, it was strictly fast and loud or heavy music so I'm grateful for the exposure and becoming open minded with age. I wish i was as open minded from 13-20.
Joy division is gay
Sometimes as a drummer less is more you don't have to double bass everything, nice
Speed Metal Kublai Khan wishes they were this cool
Is that why they've rebranded everything to Kublai Khan TX?
James Branstetter I would imagine so. I know the guitarist girlfriend from the old Kublai Khan was mad at these guys and their fans
@@DeadCardinal yeah, she was so triggered by it saying KK TX stole and shit even tho is a guys name from hundreds of years ago
The only complaint about this song:
Too short.
The breakdown being just drums and bass (which sounds like a crane cable being picked in Z# tuning) is the heaviest thing I've ever heard and last week it made me bench press my first 80kg like I was lifting paper. Love you, guys.
3 years later still one of the coolest music videos. The vibe is so sick
Yeah this is great and all, but when Yall coming back to the VFW in Sherman for a show?
play this loud, go get somebody, start the BAR FIGHT.
Trujillo?
Came here to comment this 😂

You Cant Bring Me Down Trujillo

Stoked for more material boys
I hope you all realize how good of a drummer you need to make this work the way it does. Respect for everyone in the band of course
This album is HEAVY like fuck , I would kill for a knocked loose, terror, khan, acacia strain ,varials, counterparts tour .
Different but in a good way. Like this sound boyz. Gona be another banger of an album. Big up from London city uk.
Seeing them next week in chicago
Shits gonna get real dumb lol
See ya there, orthodox is gonna be insane too
I've seen them in a small venue and they really bring it. I cant imagine what a chicago sized crowd will be like

Estaba buscando información para una exposición en clase de historia sobre el emperador kublai y terminé aquí, no me arrepiento de procrastinate de esta manera
I m not into this straight Hardcore stuff but this EP absolutely kills. It's so precise and the heavyness seems to be adapted so easily. This track proves the difference between real power and all that stuff that tries to gain attention with breakdowns, growls and effects. This is so pure but with a really nice groove . I'm deeply impressed
Shout out to them braids! Our boy's up to his neck in sauce!
Matt's vocal's sounding more like New Strength era and I'm DOWN
I needed this bassline in my life! Can't wait for the album!
This makes me want to play wii tennis without the safety strap.

That bass breakdown is the nastiest shit I’ve ever witnessed. I can’t wait to throw down to that shit

I want to see Isaac Lambs drum play through of this! Zildjian!! You know what to do.
Just discovered these guys. That bass only breakdown made me feel physically ill. What a fucking banger of a song holy shit.
This makes my heart happy 🖤
CAN WE PLEASE MAKE BASS ONLY BREAKDOWNS A COMMON THING NOW PLEASE
My friend just showed me this band yesterday. Holy shit it is the best mind blowing heaviness I’ve heard in too long. So tasteful, so heavy, so brutal, and so true. My new favorite band
My boys are back with the bangers 🤘🔥
To the guitar nerd from Seattle in line at the Periphery show last night..thanks recommending this band. Just badass shit right here
This is easily one of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard.
This dude's vocals could tear a phonebook in half.
That's the dirtiest and heaviest bass I've heard in a while, oh my!!!!!!!
hardest song out right now
omg this popped on spotify radio and we got crunk so hard
People talking about bass only breakdowns need to go revisit bands such as bury your dead and stuff from the late 2000’s. However with that said this song was hard and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
This video looks like “before I forget “ from slipknot
Best Heavy Hardcore band on EARTH! 🌎
That bass sounds like if electricity and fire had a baby it would make that sound.
Anyone know why they changed their name to Kublai Khan TX? Noticed they had two profiles on Spotify now. Just a little confused. Dope song by the way. Can’t wait for the new album.🤘🏻

Came back here cause of how relevant the lyrics are currently
I don’t think Rise Records were the best choice for them :/
You know what, I was thinking the exact same thing...
Anyone have a clue where that sample is from? I have been extensively looking for this along with someone in the subreddit and we cannot figure this out.
The part that interested 'me' the most about it was the end "We're always glad to know that there are some people who want to be instructed"
Asked the man himself and he said it's from an old George Carlin interview. He released a spoken word album in the 50's and it's from the track entitled, "Boston Rant 1957." Here's the UA-cam link to the track. Enjoy, friend.

It’s been four years. This is still the best hardcore record of all time. Nobody touches it
You're hilarious.
I have a video of my 1 year old daughter unleashing a huge smile right when this song pops on. It brings light to my day anytime darkness appears.
