Written by Band Maid for the Netflix Anime Kengan Asura season two end titles. As is usual with Band Maid. The lyrics are very careful to match the anime but can be enjoyed without any knowledge of the anime. Any Maid song is an event for me. Simply inspiring and uplifting and a delight to hear.

Well, absolutely agreed and experienced, brother! No anime knowledge in this noodle but most certainly relate with the energy that Saiki (and the other ladies, of course) is putting out. This one is very much a favourite, I gotta say 🤘🏻💜
Now what you should really see is the Live double of DICE and HATE from Lollapalooza earlier this year. Your goosebumps will get goosebumps. Really.
Never wait too long for another BAND-MAID song. We all need more of it in our lives. Like 'Glory' this one is another commission for an anime theme song. This is the season two closing theme for the Netflix fighting anime, Kengan Ashura. Yes! Kanami doesn't just solo to do a solo. It serves the song. If she's going to show off a little, it's usually a Call & Response with MISA.
If you want even more Band-Maid in your life check out the 2 song video Dice & Hate? live at Lollapalooza. I honestly think during those 2 songs is the pinnacle of the 2023 north American tour.

I was watching Lovebites the other day and noticed I had all these bumps on my arm. I thought, "Wow, I got Lovebites." But then I looked closer and saw they were mosquito bites. 🦟 So I went back to the only true place to get bumps on my arm... Band-Maid! 🎀

music is such a subjective art...........that said, BAND-MAID encapsulates EVERYTHING I love about rock and roll. such a wonderful variety of rock styles.

Hey man, keep up with it! Honestly, when I was at one of my lowest points was right when I discovered Band-Maid. This band did a lot to help me out of that "funk". But so did your reactions to them. Finding someone that had the pure joy about this band that I had was amazing. Have you seen them live? These women are so amazing. Anyway, hang on! I've been in a low place, you and the maids helped me out. Hope I can help others find the same joy!

Chief ... it has been a while :) . We are anticipating an album soon but our MAIDs have been very busy touring. I think the live shows actually generated more new fans than a new album this year may have. Lollapalooza was a huge win for them. We have gotten several onsie vids like this in sort of the same way they released Conqueror.
I'm still predicting a spring release 2024 for the new album cos they blessed us already with the 2 vol Best of. I think the Maids missed my email telling them what the "Best of" were.😏

Yup. There are actually enough new songs to release an LP. I wouldn't doubt them having more new songs on the wings for a full album.

Band maid is another band that Im just not that into. I cant say why Im not into them... its just they dont give me goosbumps. But I still love watching your reactions to them because I can see how much you ARE into them and your energy is infectious 😊. Dont get me wrong. I can hear the musicianship and good writing and all that... it just doesnt give me that certain feeling that we all cant describe. But the music itself is good. And mostly just wanted to comment something to help the youtube algorithm... but also want to comment what I actually feel lol... so yeah its not a super positive comment but its trying to be 😂

Gave your post a thumbs up for being a “reasonable negative”… you’re not a fan but are unwilling to crap on something that obviously has lots of good qualities. Trolls will just say they stink, can’t play, fake it, people only like them ‘cause they’re women, etc. Those people are ridiculous.
I think they’re the best group in decades but I realize plenty of people won’t like them. Plenty of people didn’t like The Beatles. Or Led Zeppelin. I, myself, don’t like Metallica. I won’t deny their talent, or what they’ve brought to the music world, though.
It's OK to be honest. It's not that negative. I have whole bunch of bands I admire their musicianship and songwriting yet they don't hit me in the way thay do their fans. It's normal. BTW I love them to bits. 😊
