Been in ATL for just over 20 years and couldn't agree more. ATL, like anywhere else, is what you make it...even though I feel it's got a lot of pluses over many other places.
I've only been in ATL for as long as I've been alive, which isn't too long, even I've found some amazing things to do in the city
Nothing boring about Atlanta
Atlanta looks amazing at night. Especially when all the high-rise buildings lit up in all its beauty from the One Atlantic Center to the Georgia-Pacific Building, the Westin Peachtree, and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
I’m in love with this city. Proud to be born there.

Much has changed since I was there on a business trip in 1997 but I recognized the CNN building. We also visited the Coca Cola museum and the Olympic park where the bomb incident was. I hope you're having a good weekend! // Bertil.
Atlanta is actually a city with MULTIPLE skylines. Downtown has its own skyline, Midtown (north of Ponce) has its own skyline…
Buckhead has its own skyline, Sandy Springs/Dunwoody has its own skyline… Cumberland area (Smyrna) also has its own set of skyscrapers.
Decatur/Emory/CDC area has a mini skyline.
That was some great footage! I took pics of downtown Atlanta during my last trip there in March of 2021, but couldn't get any pics of the skyline at night like I wanted to, but watching this video was definitely a better way for me to get a good idea of what it looked like at night. My type of drone couldn't capture footage like this. I know drones that get this type of footage are way more expensive.
You gotta squeeze that Buckhead Skyline in there. That’ll kill em for real!
A lot of these drone videos do tend to leave Buckhead out. That's almost another downtown in and of itself.
