Beautifuly said, Sis. To God be the Glory, Amen! Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our lives, we forget that our neighbors have hardships, need a comforting word or helping hand, one of the greatest commandments is to love thy neighbor as thy self. I have to constantly remind myself to be the person that I would hope for in any situation. Would I turn me down for help? Would I leave me on the outs? No. I love myself and to show love to others is an act of self-love. Never forget the Savior decreed "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me." Every act of service with a loving heart is reightous and you are not doing this for your neighbor, you are doing this out of love, respect and reverence for the commandments of the lord your God. Man needs to remember it is not by our standards we are called forth. We will all stand before the Lord on that great day in the light of his standards. I hope the man that boasted all that recieved a whole humble pie and realized how wrong his heart was in saying that. Even the strong need someone to lean on every now and then to regain their strength. I pray that he acts in the Lords love and the lord gives him his strength and not the strength of the man to get him back in line with the will and true love of the father. That saddens me that someone could say that as a member of the church. Man is flawed, but we have a perfect creator that loves us perfectly. We are all truly on differents paths in life trying to make it to the road to eternal life and should do well to remember that "If I ascend to the heavens, You are there; If I go down to the depths, you are there." Psalm 139:8 The lord will work out the issues of that brothers heart. He should turn in his temple reccomend until that happens though. I am sure his Bishop would agree. Our hearts also need to be in the right place upon entering those doors in line with all other requirements. I hope he repented. Thank you for sharing Zandra.
100% this! This is so important especially WITH COVID!

Warm and insightful. Wonderful to listen to her before dinner and bring that peace to the table.
Interesting. A friend used that same talk in a Priesthood lesson he gave this past week.
How many times have I been in a position where I could extend Love but I didn't because I felt that I was doing some higher calling!
