Very fun fact: If you own Street Fighter 6, there is now a feature in options that can provide you a “link code”. With that, you can enter it into Type Arcade and it will let you use the palette swaps and outfits of your characters that you owned in your copy in Type Arcade.
I stopped by the arcade today to test this. I could not find a place to input my Link code. This does not appear to be implemented in the SF6 Type Arcade site either. I suspect that this is coming in a future update. It’s worth mentioning that I didn’t see Ed on the character select screen, so the two versions are not currently in sync.
@@LoweKeyFlexin The link code feature I found out about it the other day, so it is most likely a new feature they just put out that will be implemented onto Type Arcade soon enough Just checked and yeah, it is a new feature off the Ed update. When Ed gets added to Type Arcade, it SHOULD allow you to enter your link code
Graphics are not quite up to par with the next gen consoles. It’s running on a PC that more closely resembles PS4 hardware. They are repurposing the internals from SFV Type Arcade.
Thank you for the reply. I thought we finally have a 4k arcade fighting game. If its based off the ps4 it should be well within the 1080p res. Still looks good though!
Yes, as long as your controller is PS4-compatible. My arcade stick would not work if I had it set to PS5 or PC mode. Someone tried an Xbox controller at the arcade today and it did not work.
There are two card readers on the machine: The NESiCA card reader for your SF6 account. This one is sold with the Vewlix cabinets. The second card reader is used by Round 1 for tracking credits and tickets. The closest thing I could find online is sold by a company called “Embed Card”.

I talked to someone that works at the arcade. It looks like the update for Ed is available, but the operators have to manually install it.
@@ChosenMii This update just came out on Tuesday. Just put out a video detailing how to set the Link code set up.

Will emuse cards work if they have the AIC symbol or naw?
They should work, but I haven’t personally tested them.
@@LoweKeyFlexin next time I go to a round 1 I’ll keep an eye out
Yep, we also have it at round1 glc, its really nice :)
Also curious, whats the Rhythm game scene like there, we got a good scene here in MI
PS4 inside ?
From my understanding, it is a “Taito Type X4” PC that has comparable specs to a PS4.
