- Gametogeneis is the formation of male and female gametes fron primordial germ cells, PGC,s arise in epiblast during 2nd week of development and then move to yolk sac nd finally to developing gonads where mitotic and meiotic divisions proceeds to the futher maturation and differentiation of germ cell
