Hey guys! So am I just becoming disenchanted with advent calendars or is this one just not seemingly $500 worth of value? The one thing I do know is that I have enough "squeeze tubes' to last me a lifetime! Let me know what you think! Love ya💖
She has saved me so much money. I am so glad I found these video. I think she had a box for $300 not the Chanel but it was a higher end that I think was the best out of all of them. Chanel was beyond disappointing but also a major ripoff
And a company like that could have a couple for different skin tones, so they could collab with some P.O.C. too! I'd go out of my way to buy something like that and have it shipped to me in Australia!
I think Sephora is bad on purpose. Maybe not the first year. But I believe they are bad to be talked about. No one cares about the good ones 😂 it’s me. I’m not one.
I didn't mind the squeeze tubes so much in this one ( except the empty one) because most were a pretty good size. Not sure if this was $500 worth of products but I think this was one of the better ones you've done so far.
You may be extremely disappointed, but I love your advent calendar videos! Not even for your disappointment, I just find them so fun! Heck, I went back and rewatched a bunch of old ones to fill the time.
I actually liked this one. The tubes were a decent size and it came with a variety of items. And it had some full size items too. And i really like the colors in the huda palette. Thanks for the unboxing. I can't afford these advent calendars but it's great to explore them through you. ❤
I agree 100%! I've honestly never bought a single one of the advent calendars she has reviewed but i always find specific items interesting and end up buying just those. 😄
A lot of the calendars this year are just so disappointing. I was tempted to pick this one up when it went on sale but I’m glad I gave it a miss. I would contact them about the empty product!

My Christmas wish is that you get to open a truly exciting and fufilling advent calendar this season. I think you deserve it. I keep my fingers crossed!
That Nuxe oil is super pricey, but it smells so good. I was gifted a large bottle of that years ago, and I loved wearing it just out of the shower. When I went to replace it, I had a very rude awakening. Love every Toxic free Grown Alchemist I've ever gotten.
I got addicted to Nuxe products while traveling overseas. Of course, my favorite product - the Nuxe oil in the Florale scent - is not available in the US at all! Thankfully, FeelUnique has the whole line and they ship to the US pretty quickly.
Quite a ride on this one. I absolutely died about the empty one. Yes, air does tend to be vegan 🤣 I knew exactly why you sang Delilah. You think she is still helping people love each other. You also taught me something. I just thought my arms are the way they are. Ive never heard of kp. Ill have to try that cream!
For me, a bar of African black soap and this scrubby thing called a Japanese towel (I think) has helped a lot with kp. I haven’t tried what she got in the box, I’m sure that would work amazing as well. Just wanted to share.
I can't thank you enough for talking about your struggle with KP. I also have KP and I've never heard anyone talking about it so openly. Knowing that a wonderful, perfect, drop death beautiful woman like you has KP, made me feel better about myself.
I'm in my 30s and have had KP for as long as I can remember. I used to use a resurfacing cream by Mark Lee's and it smells identical to the first aid beauty one, works the same but the first aid beauty is actually less expensive! I also use it on my legs because I'll get bumpy skin from shaving and it works great for that
I had it really bad when I was younger (37 now) but I still deal with it even now. I used Lac-Hydrin 5 for years, it’s was a miracle in a bottle and cheap! But it got discontinued for some reason and now all these companies are coming out with similar products that cost way way more. Super disappointing! My solution now is to use really intense body scrubs in the shower
I use the JJ Young Aloe Vera Super Fresh Body Exfoliator... The stuff is magical! I still have the little spots bcs I'm so fair but my skin is perfectly smooth!
Well into my 30’s and still have KP, particularly on my legs! BUT - last spring I started using the CeraVe Rough and Bumpy line - specifically the SA body wash (with a scrubby) and the SA Cream - and this summer was the first time I was happy to wear shorts and skirts! I didn’t even care about my corpse-like pallor, I was just so happy to finally be spot free for the first time since… ever? The best part is they’re drugstore, and even if they’re more expensive than most drugstore body washes and body lotions, they’re nowhere near as expensive as the other stuff that I’ve seen. (They can be hard to find though because they tend to fly off the shelf!)
Thank you for mentioning the fact that with all those samples there is no way to see any effect. Give me enough to use everyday for 8 weeks so I can decide how it works for me. THEN maybe it’s worth $500.
9:33 mangosteen is literally "mango-steen" but it's one of the most delicious fruits I've ever eaten. If you ever visit around Southeast Asia and get a chance to try some, you definitely should!
I think it would be so fun to see you do an advent calendar that would be the way you would like it, all the products that you would like to see in one? Show’em how it’s supposed to be done!
I just wanted to thank you for all of these videos. I watch them when they come out at work during lunch and you always manage to make any day better. Plus I'll never buy these calendars so I love seeing how they are 😂 I've learned they are mostly disappointing.
The next advent calender is really good this year. There's an almost equal makeup to skincare ratio, I think it's only available in the UK but its good value and you do get a nice selection of makeup products.
Out of all the calendars you have opened so far I really like the variety of this one. If I could afford even one advent calendar this year i would definitely not be disappointed if I got this one… a girl can dream🤷🏻♀️
Your hair looks so pretty curly! I think you should go for the whole head. The hair oil seems to work too. I love your channel. You’re helping me get through some tough times!
Side note, love that you’re sponsored by Blueland! I’ve been using them for over a year now and both my husband and I love their hand soaps and cleaners. 😍😍 Their dish washing stuff not so much 🥴
I also want to recommend olaplex... I have very fine, long hair, that falls out (thanks to a thyroid condition and stress) and it actually has made a difference! My hair is soft, not weighed down and no longer experiencing split ends. Its insanely stupid expensive for the amount you get but you dont have to use that much and I mix it in with my regular conditioner.
I keep opening youtube only to check whether the next video on the Alexandria's Advent calendar journey is posted, so this has been a very lucky day! As usual, very fun to watch!
I love watching you open these advent calendars. You should put together some giveaways from what you don't use. Ever time you find something rose scented, I know I would absolutely love it. Many of your other fans would enjoy it to.
The kp bump eraser is my HOLY GRAIL product. I literally have to keep it in stock or my skin flares up . Definitely worth the full size price of $28 . It's amazing !
I have so much KP I’d go through it in a week. So I buy 90% lactic acid and make my own treatment with my holy grail lotion. I’ve tried other lotions (my fav being 10% glycolic 5% lactic) but I’d then have to use my good lotion later bc most lotion sucks. It’ll feel good but you need to reapply often. So I started making my own. If I could find glycolic acid in bulk the way I’ve found lactic acid, I’d make a glycolic, lactic acid lotion, but my lactic acid lotion is working great. Sometimes for fun I bump of the % and have a nice body peel. (Usually my lotion is around 22% but I do go as high as 30%.) It was daunting at first but once I made it I realized how easy it was.
@@Comrade_mommy luckily I only get it on my arms and thighs. A full size of the fab last me a month. Glad you found an alternative that works for you !
@@Oryxstolemycookies I get it on my shoulders, arms, upper side of my back, back thigh, inner thigh, butt, and my under boob. Like wtaf is that. And bc it’s under boob on DD’s I can’t just put acidic creams on there bc acids and creases do not mix. (I once accidentally brought my lotion to high up my thighs.....I’ve nvr had an STD but I bet that’s what it feels like.) My body hates me.
@@Comrade_mommy ooh I might try this! I buy the ordinary Glycolic acid big size and I think that's pretty decent for the price! Maybe I can mix it with some lactic acid. Would you be open to sharing the names/brands of the lactic acid and cream you use?
@@justanotherclaud I was just going to tell her that she needs to share her special recipe with the rest of us, lol. I only get it on the back of my upper arms and thighs. I noticed when I started to exfoliate with mitts just using my reg shower gel they started to go away but then I had to stop using those mitts. I have RSD in 3 of my limbs (unfortunately it feels like it's going into my last unaffected limbs 😔). I had to stop using the mitts because they would trigger the nerves, especially on my left foot/leg. The amount of pain I'd get just from exfoliating didn't make it worth it for me...
Alexandria, I ABSOLUTELY love your reactions to the advent calendars. Your reactions are hysterically funny and priceless. You are doing a public service doing these advent calendar videos so we'll all know how to spend our money wisely. Please continue to do advent calendar videos as I truly enjoy watching them. ☺️😊
Would you do a ranked tier list of all the advent calendars when you’re done? Like it could be in March 2022 and I wouldn’t care but I would just like to see it. Edit: I said tanked instead of ranked 🤦🏻♀️
I liked this one, the brands are actually “lux” or premium , and much larger than other calendars. I’ve also heard that wishful mask actually works for a short term effect!
I think you’re clear of the bulk of the damage, but I’m still anxious to hear that you and your loved ones are safe after the storms. ❤️ I’m right on the Tennessee state line, and I’ve seen so much devastation in the last 36 hours. I truly hope and pray you and yours are safe!
You should do a video on the best items you've gotten in subscription boxes. Like items that you ordered again or used up? I'd be interested since you get so many things 😙
Usually advent calendars from the UK are better but I didn't find this one to be that great. Were you able to grab the Cult Beauty one? It sold out pretty fast both times they put it up. But I think it's because people realized that even though it's pricey, it's a really good one. :)
Last night, I ordered a large margarita and after we got home and I was in my drunken glory, I kept telling my husband about "Alexandria with the advent calendars" and how I wanted to watch your new video 🤣 God bless Alexandria with the advent calendars! Hahaha
Thinking of you and your family this AM -- I don't know where in KY you are, but we've kept a close eye on the storms as they moved through the Mississippi Valley. I'm in NoMiss and our damage was minimal -- I hope you can check in and let us know how you and your family are after these terrible storms.
I was worried as well! I’m in NE Arkansas and we were slammed hard here in surrounding cities but Kentucky still got the worst of it. As soon as I saw Kentucky got the worst of it I tried to find a way to get in touch with her and make sure she’s ok or see if she needed any help. I have several friends in that state and they are all ok thankfully.
I really love your advent calendar videos. I've been struggling this week, because my dog passed away, and you never fail to cheer me up. Thank you! Also, the hair oil really did make your hair look softer, and more healthy!!
OMG.. The tornado didn’t hit by you, I hope? Mayfield was leveled! I live in Missouri, and our tornado siren went off 4 times. I’m praying it wasn’t in your area. The weather is crazy for this time of year. Next week it’s supposed to get to 76 degrees!
I just woke up and saw that tornados ripped through Kentucky and did a lot of damage last night. I’m from just south of Detroit and I know how devastating they can be. I hope you and your family and friends are safe and ok. My forever man and I have family that live in Kentucky and Tennessee as well. Sending you all light and prayers.
Yay another advent video. Makes for such a great day when I see you post. You're videos make me happy. Love your personality and you seem like such a sweet and genuine soul.
Honestly liking this one! Nice variety and lots of full sizes! AND 25 DAYS, FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT! Also, that Nuxe oil is NOT a hair oil only! It has LOTS of uses, look it up :)
Still wondering what’s day number 7 🤣.. absolutely loving these videos!! Advent calendar season is my favorite. Actually bought one for my mother in law made a grate Xmas gift.
I LOVE the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser scrub. I am 39, I'll be 40 in March, and I have never had nor even heard of KP before. About a year or so ago I started noticing these bumps on the backs of my arms, my skin was super dry and felt so like bumpy and scaley. I found the FAB KP bump eraser from Sephora and fell in LOVE! It cleared up my bumps within probably a week or two and has kept it clear for about a year. Definitely give that a try and Im sure you'll love it as much as I do.
I will say it again..... I just don't understand how the curator of these Advent calendars think that samples are valued up to $200-$500. I guess, I'm really super old fashioned.
It's always based on the price per mL of a full size, but ignores the fact that most of the time such samples are given away for free or as a gift with purchase. Technically they're not lying, but that doesn't mean that's their practical value.
Girl I totally stopped blow drying my hair like 2 years ago maybe longer and it's so much more healthier and soft. I do dry it if I'm in a hurry but that's not often lol
I’m with you on there not being enough product in a squeeze tube to get results. That being said, it is enough for you to see if you like the product feel. Love these videos of unboxing anything so please keep them coming ❤️
Loving this years' Advent series! I'm learning to never get one 😅 I need that KP scrub, I haven't tried FAB yet. We, sorry to burst the bubble, but I didn't get KP until my 30's, so... 😬
i know right! in theory they seem fun but after watching all of these vids i feel like id much rather buy a few full size products for the same $ amount as buying an advent calendar lol
Seems like some of the cheaper calendars have been better over the past years IMO, and more worth the money. I would rather pay a little to get a few things I could use rather than pay a lot for something that I may or may not be able to use. I don't like skin care in an advent because different people have different skin needs and some have super sensitive skin that breaks out at the slightest thing. If there was an advent calendar specifically for clothing, I would be more interested.
That's what I don't understand with these skincare heavy calendars. Changing skincare products frequently can cause breakouts and other skin issues, and everyone has different needs. I would consider most of this stuff worthless to me because I'm not just going to start putting random creams on my face.
@@jenniferp7497 agreed, I can't change my routine much or else my skin goes absolutely crazy. I can only use certain brands and products skincare wise, so other types of advent calendars are more worth the money, since I would actually use the products.
I can't get over the empty squeezie tube! 😳 You should regift it, haha... just kidding. Thank you for your advent calendar videos Alexandria, you're adorable! 🌟
I almost got this calendar for $93. You know you're old when you get excited for skin care over makeup 🤦♀️ Couple side notes: I have KP and am in my 30s. It never went away. I got that cream from first aid beauty and it definitely gets a 👍from me. I am so sick of seeing that AHAVA hand cream that I actually get mad when I see it when I am out shopping 🤣

I have never bought any because I think they’re not worth it but I do enjoy watching you and other people opening them 😅.
it might be because the smaller items come from fancier/more expensive brands
I don't think they're worth it either, I rather just spend the $$ on 1-2 products I know I'll love
I loved this calendar personally if I could afford it I would run and purchase but I'm a sucker for all the squeeze bottle products 😀
I have yet to see one I would spend the amount of money in that they were asking.

I think you’re clear of the bulk of the damage, but I’m still anxious to hear that you and your loved ones are safe after the storms. ❤️ I’m right on the Tennessee state line, and I’ve seen so much devastation in the last 36 hours. I truly hope and pray you and yours are safe!
same! it's on the news right now and everything looks awful :(
When you squeezed the empty tube I just about died figuratively 😂 Thats so wild. I wasn't ready. 😂
Literally here as fast as I can. I love these videos
Gotta say, your hair is looking super thick and healthy in this video 💜
Edit: I also want to see ALL the tubes after Christmas lol!
I was saying the same thing
I’m so happy for all these sponsorships you have lately. We love to see it!
The Nuxe oil is amazing! I adore it. They stopped shipping to the US so I can't get their products anymore but I really love this brand.
Enjoy watching you open calendars. Makes my day.
So excited for all the advent calendars for this month 🤗
Hey beautiful so great to see you and I hope that you and everyone watching has a blessed weekend 💖💞💖
I absolutely love your vids 🥰 they come out at night here, so it’s so lovely watching them before bedtime! ❤️🥰
Thank you so much for a high education on these Advent calendars. I've often thought of buying one. Now I will no longer waste my time or my money.
That NUXE oil is fabulous! I bought some the last time I was in London
I hope she got it, I really wanted it but couldn’t afford it so it would be fun to watch her unbox it. Although maybe that would be torture too…🤣
that KP bump eraser from first aid beauty is amazing, it works so good! you'll love it. It's completely changed the skin on my arms
I will say that at least the tubes were a fair size and day 25 was decent, with 2 products! Keep the advent-ness coming 😊
Oh man that started out so promising, with those cute little drawers! AND AN EMPTY TUBE ....so crazy :)
Last night, I ordered a large margarita and after we got home and I was in my drunken glory, I kept telling my husband about "Alexandria with the advent calendars" and how I wanted to watch your new video 🤣
God bless Alexandria with the advent calendars! Hahaha
You're such a pleasure to watch and always make me laugh. Love the videos I'm working my way through the advent calendar xx
I hope all your friends and family are safe as well!
Yay another advent video. Makes for such a great day when I see you post. You're videos make me happy. Love your personality and you seem like such a sweet and genuine soul.
Hey, East Coast! Love from Nova Scotia 😊❤
I thought I was crazy. So glad someone else mentioned this
Rewatched it twice, thought I had suffered a teeny blackout 😂. She didn't even notice it during editing! Hilarious 😂😂😂
OMG! Someone else noticed!!
Also missed day 12
@@Denisafan
09.43 - day no.12 is a Molten Brown bath/shower gel. I think you blinked and missed it 😉
Yay!!!! More advent calendars! I so LOVE these videos!!!
That empty tube! OMG!
Sephora, thank Feelunique for lowering the bar for you! LOL
Your videos are like an advent calendar of advent calendars. I look forward to them everyday
I actually like this advent calendar especially since they didn’t just add a sheet mask as 1 day but also included something else with it.
Totally LOVE your calendars
Frankly, I’d be more likely to buy anything with Alton Brown’s name on it. Alton supremacy✨✨
So glad to have caught you!
Loving this years' Advent series! I'm learning to never get one 😅
I need that KP scrub, I haven't tried FAB yet. We, sorry to burst the bubble, but I didn't get KP until my 30's, so... 😬
i know right! in theory they seem fun but after watching all of these vids i feel like id much rather buy a few full size products for the same $ amount as buying an advent calendar lol
Same never had skin problems in my entire life and then I hit 30 and now I have kp all over my arms and back it’s so itchy and horrible!!!😩😤😬😵💫
Love your advent calendar series, hope you and your loved ones are doing well in the wake of tornadoes!
The Pink Diamond line from Rodial is game changing. The face oil is my holy grail.
I can't get over the empty squeezie tube! 😳 You should regift it, haha... just kidding. Thank you for your advent calendar videos Alexandria, you're adorable! 🌟
The wishful mask is incredible! I use it before all major events i have
How much I love to see you open advent calendars, maybe it’s better to order these boxen later so you have cheaper advent calendar .
that First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser is SO good! even if you don’t have KP. it’s also a really good pre-wax exfoliant 🐱
I just found out about the horrible tornados in Kentucky, I was just checking that you and your family are doing alright.
As someone in her 50s I love the chin face masks they usually have ear holes. They are tight and squish chin fat. The liquid reduces jowl lines.
I almost got this calendar for $93.
You know you're old when you get excited for skin care over makeup 🤦♀️
Couple side notes: I have KP and am in my 30s. It never went away. I got that cream from first aid beauty and it definitely gets a 👍from me.
I am so sick of seeing that AHAVA hand cream that I actually get mad when I see it when I am out shopping 🤣
I just love watching all these advent calendar videos!! You even inspired me to buy a couple and open with my girls!! We definitely had fun taking turns to open a day!! ❤️ Merry Christmas to you 🎄
