It's a fun game despite the bugs. I would recommend always setting it to open patrol from the map at the start of shift. In that way you don't have to worry about time, you just go back to any precinct when you feel like ending your shift. The best part about open patrol is that you get the full map to open up. This is very helpful for highway. You'll notice quite a few vehicles swerving left and right in their lanes. These you can pull over for suspicious driving. They are always under the influence and can be arrested. For roadblocks, the red line will slowly decrease. Once it hits empty it will come up with a description of the vehicle you are looking for. This is the time to put out the spike strips. Try to block off 2 of the 3 lanes with your car and traffic barriers and put the spike strips in the other lane. The Surveillance Police Vehicle (separate DLC) is really useful for highway as it scans the license plates of vehicles you pace behind and reports on violations. This saves having to check the computer while driving at high speed. I think you do have it in your list. The EPV is a new highway vehicle which has a cool net that you can move out from under the front of the car. You then drive into one of the tires of a fleeing vehicle and it wraps itself around the tire causing the vehicle to come to a halt.
32:33 "Sorry, my pens are broken." Good luck with your insurance company lady. 😄 You will definitely want to include a fire extinguisher in every car, otherwise when you get to a major accident and there is a fire you will be unable to clear it due to not being able to interact with a burning vehicle.
Hello officer first of all thank you for a nice video how ever there are something’s you should be aware off when it comes to the highway expansion. First off all if you catch a fleeing driver you can do something called felony stop so basically you can get out and use the handgun to aim at them to get on the ground and then cuff them and add the following charges that causes the person to flee 2nd of all for weight station duty’s you are basically checking trucks there are more informations in the hand book so I suggest you check that but yea other than that nice video
I like how in depth it goes with cargo and weight. I only did one truck stop so far and havent found anything out of the ordinary with cargo but im assuming they are out there. Even goes so far to tell you if they are "on the clock" or not.
Here's a helpful hint officer. You should always be prepared for any emergency so loaded up with equipment is the key. I may not be a licensed officer myself but I do know a thing or 2 about law enforcement thanks to learning from dad. Fun fact. Did you know that my dad was a member of our local Sheriff's reserve before I was even built?
A few things I wish would change about this game; 1. Car thieves are, in my opinion, difficult to catch because it takes me a few moments to find the location of the car thief when I get the intuition text, and time is key for this crime. By the time I get my stun gun out, they might've got into the car already. I wish you could aim - not shoot - the gun to get car thieves out if you fail to catch them before they break into it. Especially in the city, as roadblocks and pit manoeuvres are prohibited in the city because it is more crowded and thus dangerous to innocent civilians. As of now, to my understanding, those are the only ways to stop a car thief if the original plan fails other than car chases, but again, danger to civilians in the city. If gun use is completely prohibited, then more time to equip the taser and shoot before the thief gets into the car. 2. I feel like stopping wallet or car thief interactions if the officer's busy with another callout is a good idea as they happen around me when I'm trying to deal with something else. 3. A lot of the time, car chases end up with the fleeing suspect driving out of my area, so I think giving us full roam of the entire map or keeping the driver in an assigned area is a good idea too. 4. Maybe change some of the dialogue reminders when your shift is over, as I get yelled at if I don't return in time. Also, give us more time to return if we're on the highway because those roads are very long. 5. Maybe more callout variety? I understand that the game's rating is for 12s/13s, so maybe arson, bank robbery, extortion/blackmailing/money laundering interactions instead of active shooters or murder because that would require the use of the gun (murder would probably be too graphic). 6. The roadblocks. I've resorted to avoiding those callouts because the timing needed to throw the strip and catch the driver successfully is very difficult. Maybe allow us to throw it before the driver gets close or something? Honestly have no idea what could be a practical solution to this but I have struggle trying to catch them. 7. Might be a glitch on my end, but I notice that shooting my taser rarely works. The fleeing suspect doesn't stop, and shooting the taser rarely hits them. Other than that, what's the manual drill for? I seen someone fleeing from an accident and caught them with a manual drill. I heard that's connected to car theft so I arrested them for it and lost points.
They need an update to stop crime around the proximity of your vehicle during a traffic stop. Im tired of people stealing cars and wallets directly in front of me while my lights are on with someone pulled over. They also need to make an adjustable slider for traffic density, make AI either slow down or move over while you have a car stopped, and allow you to use your radar gun while inside the car. Last but not least they should make the SPV car feature where it automatically scans plates an attachment not just a feature on that car specifically. We should be able to attach a plate reader (or two to read plates from behind) to any vehicle we want along with different light patterns and colors
When making a u-turn on the highway, if you use the inside median to accelerate then you wont have to worry about the cross traffic not stopping and will have less crashes.
The main problem I have with this game is the fact that there's nonestop crime. It'll even happen right in front of me while doing a traffic stop or dealing with accidents.
Love your vids and thanks for your service to the community in a tough climate to get out there everyday and do what you do I applaud you for it. I was supposed to be a State Trooper for the State of Florida but I end up taking a different route but I think about it everyday and for me this game is as close i can get lol.
What’s the crash count on this one? 9? 10? I lost count. This looks like it’s going to be an even better series than the last one. There certainly seems to be more than enough to keep busy, and a lot of new events too. Your shift always seems to go by so fast though. Any thoughts about doing longer shifts in this series?
I dont get why its 2024 and were still having a hard time getting cool games like this from manufacturers and designers. No reason why they can incorporate grand theft auto type of game play but as a cop or a firefighter or paramedic...

This game would hit hard if it had just a little gta mechanics. The driving and movement is so stiff.
Most frustrating part
This new destruction derby expansion looks great 😂😂😂 ..looking forward to this new series. Fun video as always

I love how hitting a shrub can practically total a car. 😮
On the fleeing driver, you have to point your gun at them to make them get out.
Yay! New video from my favorite American youtuber.😆

I'm just here for the crashes!!! 😂😂😂
Same :D

When does the North Hollywood Shootout expansion pack come out? That would be exciting to watch 😂
Hahaha, this is great 😂 So funny and chaotic....love it.

Real cop playing cop game committing multiple felonies to catch and interrogate 1 individual in the middle of the highway 😂
Because the game is so buggy do not run code. It freaks them out and bug them out even more. Just run with the lights that’s how I avoid issues

He’s a super trooper. *insert super trooper gifs here*
Fire extinguisher is necessary for highway accidents
I wonder if there maybe an update to play as a K-9 or mounted unit!!??
Given the lack of animals in the base game, I have my doubts
I have totalled another car 🤣🤣
@28:30 it probably wanted you to ID first, RO is listed in the BOLO.
Your poor car. 😂

It’s a German made game
So?
