People have been adding flashy graphics to videos for years this is the same thing just in the UI of the site. You can act like it is only "X group" that "falls" for things like this but at the end of the day you are part of the same community and have the same human biases to colour etc as everyone else.
I've watched dozens of videos explaining this and it never worked for me and now finally it actually happened. I have never been so happy to see a box change colors for a second.

If you WANT this to WORK you actually NEED to go to the youtube studio > settings > channel > access to functions and there you need to have ADVANCED FEATURES ENABLED

I saw this many times and it's honestly impressive how UA-cam have improved their updates, and it's very noticeable when you just go below the video screen by 2 inches, it's honestly very creative off UA-cam to make such something like that, on top of the update you can also don't need to edit anything or like check anything in the video because the glow is automatic, it is probably detected through the captions section or the voice dectector that sees what is the person saying, it could possibly or certainly be in any language...
It's not in any language because google is a small indie company that doesn't have the resources to implement automatic subtitles for even at least every European language
