I bought this headset a few days ago to use for my home office and it has some serious issues for work from home that aren't addressed here. For something designed for work from home, being unable to change the settings on it at all without installing the logitech software makes it unusable when using a work-provided device that doesn't allow installations. It also has this horrible auto mute feature that disables all other sounds while in a call, which would be great if it didn't detect my browser-based call software as something to mute while also not allowing me to change any settings without the software. The mic noise cancellation is also horrible and doesn't cancel anything by default, I can only assume this can be corrected through software settings as the video sounds great but this is not accessible to restricted work laptops. If only it had better plug and play default settings it would be great but as is it's useless.
We agree with your feedback. The mic noise cancellation is lacking and connectivity isn't the best if you connect with a work computer. In your case the Vibe 125 would be a better way to go in regards to being more plug and play.
Actually the software doesn't help. I bought this 1 month ago to use them for work and had the same issue: when muting the mic, it was muting my sound while in call as well. I installed the software on my personal laptop and testing the same with the logitune software, it was still muting the sound. tried some settings, still the same. opened a ticket to logitech, reseted them, still the same. I returned them after 3-4 days. Too bad cause I really liked everything else but the mute function was really important to me.
Thanks for covering two things: 1) 40mm drivers! If your ears are touched by Barracuda 2021 and 2022 headsets, then these Logitechs will also touch your ears. Logitech also sells covers that convert these to on-ear cans. 2) No analog/wired mode. If you give this to your parent as a headset for their phone or tablet for zoom/teams/google video calls, be aware that they will need to be savvy enough to pair and deal with reconnecting after powering off the headset. For those of us with bigger ears, you can always get 3rd party cushions for 50 mm products on the Barracudas (40mm drivers). Hopefully 3rd party cushions will also help here. For comparison: Blackshark v2 pros, Stealth 600 G2, Kraken TE, Kaira X and G935 are all 50mm while Cloud 2 wired are 53mm. Thanks for highlighting the driver size, many of us want to put on a headset at the start of the day and just leave them on without the inner walls touching our helix and lobule at the same time.

Hi Isaac, this is normal and how most headsets like this perform. We don't know technically why this happens but there's a reason when the mic is active it can't stay in stereo mode like you'd want. The work around we've heard about is getting any pair of headphones of your choice and adding a Modmic. @@TheButterflycurl you’re exactly right, when it’s referring to USB-A or USB-C it’s talking about the Dongle. Glad you’re overall happy with your purchase.
Having dual speakers on while you're talking can feel very unnatural and cause your voice to elevate because you can't hear yourself as clearly. Sidetone allows you to slightly hear your own voice in your speakers to feel more natural when speaking, and helps avoid you from talking abnormally loud.
Do your ears feel hot after wearing them for a while? I tried many headphones but usually I felt too hot in both my ears. The only headphone I feel comfortable with and no heat is the Jabra headset but they are wired. :(
We didn't find that to be the case with these headphones because the fabric on the cushions isn't the typical leatherette, and it's a really lightweight headset.

There's no headsets we're aware of in this price point to be better. But there are others like the Orosound Tilde Pro or Jabra Evolve2 85 that will fully enclose your ears with noise canceling. There's no mic boom we're aware of for the Bose QC45.
is it ok for gaming? like, is it responsive or has a big delay on the audio? or the ones meant for gaming are those with a dongle that connects the pc to the headset instead of just using bluetooth
They are fine for gaming and I experience no delay with Bluetooth on PC, but you are better off getting the G435 which is not only cheaper, it's the same headset meant for gaming with a dongle. I have and love both. The white and blue colors are currently 29.99 and the black color is 49.99.

@@TheButterflycurl you’re exactly right, when it’s referring to USB-A or USB-C it’s talking about the Dongle. Glad you’re overall happy with your purchase.
Awesome review. Can you explain the Side Tone thing?
Having dual speakers on while you're talking can feel very unnatural and cause your voice to elevate because you can't hear yourself as clearly. Sidetone allows you to slightly hear your own voice in your speakers to feel more natural when speaking, and helps avoid you from talking abnormally loud.
@@HeadsetAdvisor thank you
Do you have a video for best in class headset like this? I just got this headset and loving it but if there is something better would love to know
Give the Tilde Pro a look ua-cam.com/video/B_91vCqIbbs/v-deo.htmlsi=mhEG8v4taU4BFETk
Will this work with Vibe 125 with plug and play feature for mac as well as pc?
These are compatible with the PS5? Or even the PS4?
Great mic test. Can you recommend any other headset with mic noise cancelling?
Thanks for watching! Logitech Zone Wireless 2, Epos Impact 1000, Orosound Tilde Evo.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thank you!
Got these for my niece since she works from home. All the callers said she sounds far away. I tried it on my iPhone, iPad, PC, voice recorder. Yup it sounds far away no matter what 🤷♂️returning them 😮😢
hmm sounds strange did you think the mic test on our video sounded muffled too? maybe you had a defective one.
Does it have a 3.5mm audio jack? or just pure wireless?
Pure wireless
Btw what's your take on the edifier w820nb as a business headset? I checked reviews and I can never tell how good the microphone sounds due to the lack of in-depth mic tests.
We haven't tested this headset but looking at it on the surface it's not made for a business cases.
my mic doesnt work! i cant resolve it omg
is possible to connect to PS5/Xbox without a dongle or p2 cable ?
We haven't tested this to confirm.
Is it open acoustic or closed acoustic?
Closed
i need it to stay on all day, and beeing connected to my pc, does it do that, if the switch stays on?
Is there a headset like this with noise cancelling?
I own this pair and I feel like the noise cancelling feature is a must so I might return them.
Is there a way to add a mic boom to the Bose QC45 and be able to have a phone convo without holding my phone to my mouth to talk?
There's no headsets we're aware of in this price point to be better. But there are others like the Orosound Tilde Pro or Jabra Evolve2 85 that will fully enclose your ears with noise canceling.
There's no mic boom we're aware of for the Bose QC45.
@@HeadsetAdvisor thank you so much!!!
is it ok for gaming? like, is it responsive or has a big delay on the audio? or the ones meant for gaming are those with a dongle that connects the pc to the headset instead of just using bluetooth
They are fine for gaming and I experience no delay with Bluetooth on PC, but you are better off getting the G435 which is not only cheaper, it's the same headset meant for gaming with a dongle. I have and love both. The white and blue colors are currently 29.99 and the black color is 49.99.
@@pk.002 Is the G434 Microphone quality good for gaming? Does it also have spatial sound?
This headset isn't meant for gaming, but should work okay. If your main need is for gaming though, we'd recommend getting a gaming headset like what Peter mentioned.
@@pk.002 can you tell me abou the surround technology of the g435? I'm willing to buy it but I can't really find if it is 7.1, 5.1 or stereo, I play games like csgo and want to know if this headset is bad for those...
Curious about the ear pads/cushion, so do they sell a replacement just in case? Thank you for answering!
As of right now I do not see one from Logitech but it looks like there are some generic ones online.
@@HeadsetAdvisor I appreciate your response. That's what I saw when I looked it up too. Thank you!
thanks for the video! what are the differences between zone vibe 125 and zone vibe 100?
Both are the same aside from the Vibe 125 includes the USB dongle to your computer
Hi. Can u test Sony wh-ch720n please. Or have u ever try it? I mostly want to know if the logitech vibe 100 with mic boom is better than wh-ch720n for calls with background noise. I'm torn between the two. Please help.
The side tone picks up a lot of noise from the environment. Any solution for that?
None we're aware of 😓 it may be worth contacting Logitech to see if they have any thoughts
Hey I’m curious if you’ve tried the Razer Opus X. And how does it compare to this?
We haven't so we wouldn't be best to comment on the differences between the two.
Is Zone Vibe 100 compatible to work with Logi Dock? Thanks.
You would want the Zone Vibe 125 that includes the USB Dongle.
Hi! I am pretty decided for this headset since I can use it for work on my laptop and its also compatible with my phone via bluetooth. Usually I work like 7-8 hrs per day so im thinking about getting the vibe 125 to ensure better connectivity. At this moment I am seeing the Hyper X Cloud II Wireless and the G733 at almost at the same price. Would you recommend me getting the Vibe 125 over one of those or should I go with with G733 or Hyper X? Which has better noise cancelling?
Hi Charlie, we don't have any any experience with the other models mentioned but the Vibe 125 for a budget friendly headset should work well for your application.
@@HeadsetAdvisor I really appreciate your quick response, one last doubt. I am also thinking about the G435, is the vibe 125 better than that one? Thanks in advance
How do you activate the noise canceling mic on these? I have them, and everyone can hear people talking in the background
It's built in and the performance is what you get. From our testing this model didn't block to much background noise unfortunately. But you could consider adding neep.com in the future to have the best microphone noise cancellation.
@@HeadsetAdvisorSo this channel isn't a review site, it's a pure ad for your software. Jesus.
@@MrDLUA-cam not a review video? It sounds like you don’t like the performance of the headset and may want to consider something else.
Hello, i´m Sandro from Brazil, can i buy a dongle to use in zone vibe 100 ?
Hi Sandro, this Dongle may work www.logitech.com/en-us/products/video-conferencing/accessories/zone-wireless-plus-receiver.981-000963.html
How about the latency on these if we use it for mobile gaming ? Is it good ? Or bad ?
Hmm I didn’t notice latency but it uses Bluetooth. It’s more designed for use for work but I’d imagine plenty fine for most gamers
I have a question: what do you recommend me more the g535 or zone vibe 100?
I like play video games like valorant if some one can tell me i'll appreciate
Go with G535

Hi! I just bought this headset to use it for my work and i use it in zoom calls and meeting but it has a very low audio. Can you help me how to fix it? TYI
Hmm which version did you order? Make sure you have the volume on max on your computer volume settings, as well as on Zoom. Then if that doesn't work download LogiTune software and update the headset to the latest firmware. If that still doesn't work then reach out to logitech for a defective replacement.
@@HeadsetAdvisor i use logitech zone vibe 100. When i use it in spotify or youtube, the audio is good it does sound loud however when i use it in zoom, teams, skype the audio is very low even though I maximize the volume, changed the output device to logitech zone vibe 100.
Can this headset be paired with a dongle?
We haven't tested pairing a 3rd party dongle with this headset so we're not sure. This version includes the USB Dongle headsetadvisor.com/products/logitech-zone-vibe-wireless?_pos=1&_psq=zone+vibe&_ss=e&_v=1.0

awesome review!
Can I buy a usb adapter to the zone vibe 100? Will it work?
If you get the Zone Vibe 125 it comes included with the USB Dongle. You may be able to get a generic USB Dongle but we're not sure if or how well it would work.
Does it work on a wired configuration using the USB C to USB C cable?
It doesn’t
Is this good to used for call center work from home set up 50-100 calls per day?
Most call center work from home use their computer for calls, so If it’s the same for you then this headset isn’t best to connect with a computer.
Hi thanks for the review.
Anyone helping me which headset would be better for TEAMs and Zoom meeting?
Any headsets you're debating between?
@@HeadsetAdvisor hi thanks for the immediate response. It could be any company. I don't have any preferences
does it has the noise cancelation for the headphone? or only microphone?
Just the microphone
Does it have good latency in order to game and does the mic sound well in discord?
Yes, it should work well. That being said, if your main concern is gaming and you won't use this for work, we'd recommend going with a gaming headset instead.
Very great review 👍 could you do a review for logitech g435 please?
I really need help :( I tried contacting logitech, but the chat support did not really help me at all! whenever i try to connect the headset to my laptop, the mic works. but whenever i try to connect the headset to my desktop computer, the mic just stops working. every time i attempt to use the mic, everything goes crazy to the point that i got a bluescreen once. I was thinking that maybe it's my bluetooth dongle? mine's only 5.0 while this headset uses 5.2. You can still connect and listen thru the headset, but the mic does not work. plleeaassee help!
Do you have Bluetooth built directly into the desktop computer or through a usb adapter? I’d start by doing 3 things
1) update the headset using this www.logitech.com/en-us/video-collaboration/software/logi-tune-software.html
2) update your desktop computer go to the settings and update everything to the latest for the windows or Mac operating by system
3) reboot the desktop.

Yep! I replaced my old bluetooth adapter with 5.3 version. :) and plugged it in the faster usb port to maximize it. @@amandalgg

Hi Dave; excellent channel, by the way. I got a question, I am working from home now, and I've seen this Headset since I became a fan of Logitech. Considering a quiet environment, I also want to know what is best for the home office, the Zone Vibe 125 or the Jabra Evolve 2 Flex 65.
Evolve2 65 Flex is overall better in every way, so if cost isn't a factor, that's the way to go.
@@HeadsetAdvisorwould you also recommend Jabra evolve 2 65 over the logitech zone vibe 125?
@@haileybae8767 it just depends on your needs but in our opinion the Evolve2 65 is a better headset overall.
