I remember being absolutely obsessed with this ride as a kid, despite never having ridden it before. I’m going to Busch Gardens this summer, and I absolutely can’t wait to ride this in the best possible way!
Man you can really tell the difference. BGW is my home park and I’ve been riding since 93. I’ve never seen it run that smooth. Can’t wait to go back this summer.
I think someone said that Premier Rides redid the Arrow track of this refurbishment. And I agree. Who knew an almost 50 year old coaster can run so new like this again???
I think the sun has done a serious number on that coaster. Or lack of maintenance. It’s a really tight and intense arrow. I just hope they never get rid of it.
Never had the pleasure of riding this one before thrme reworking but I rode this a couple times during the members only event and the new version is a whole lot fun.
Definitely a more iconic scenery ride than thrilling. Still thrilling of course but it has 2 loops and about 2 big drops and thats it as far as thrilling elements which is way less than other Arrow Loppers.
From a pure coaster enthusiast's perspective it may not be a great ride especially with the second lift hill killing the pacing. But most people will not mind it and just enjoy a nice ride that goes through the trees and includes some thrill.
Little info. While the company later was rebranded as arrow dynamics. Technically the company would be Arrow Development as the manufacturer when they built it. As ot was arrow development until 1980 or 81 i believe
I rode this back in 2000 when I was in the 7th grade. Havent been back but wanna go. What happened to the 2 trains going through the loops at the same time? That was one of the best features when I was on it. 😅
The Transitions Don't Really Look As Smooth As Python At Efteling. Which is My Home Classic Looping Coaster. But Why Did i Then Hear This One Got A Retrack Too Tho?
I kinda feel like this has a bit of a similar storyline to Verbolten. Kinda going out on an expedition through someone scary or with something dangerous inside.
Only arrow would need 2 lift hills and 3 minutes of Ride time for 40 seconds worth of actual ride (subtracting lifts and the crawling corners with no force). This layout is the worst pacing I have ever seen, but the audio and the tunnel are cool, and the first drop into the water and the loops would be if they ran two trains through them still
BGW did a fantastic job keeping the legacy of this arrow looper alive while giving it new life!

Even though you see it for a brief moment, that Nessie statue is a really nice touch!
Time stamp?
lol just saw it never mind haha
The transitions look great! It’s taking the loops faster and the tunnel is so fun.
It's so nice that they gave Loch Ness Monster a lot of well deserved love!
Such a classic arrow looper, happy they are taking care of it.
I truly commend S&S and Busch Gardens for really committing to this ride. It’s almost 50 years old yet it’s been restored like when it opened in 1978!
I really hope this happens to Demon at SFGAm, it really needs it and what they did with loch ness looks amazing
absolute classic coaster right here
This should happen to viper at magic mountain since it’s also iconic

@@puccipower they can’t get rid of it it’s way too iconic for the park and didn’t injure people like it’s older sister shockwave
Welcome Back Happy 46th Anniversary Loch Ness Monster
Rode this today its actually pretty smooth for its age. I found it to be insanely fun.
I can’t wait to go back and try it refurbished!

It's a shame that they couldn't do the same thing with the former Big Bad Wolf.

God that looks so freaking smooth now ❤
rode it 2 days ago and its smooth than glass taking out the first few turns

I'm super curious if you see planet coaster videos if so, what planet coaster video you'd be most excited about?
Are two trains able to go through the loops at once like they couldn’t before due to structural problems?

I love Loch Ness Monster
Is it possible for 2 trains to run and go through the loops at the same time? Like 1 in each loop.
They did it back in the day, and sometimes will for commercial shoots, but not during normal operation
@CoasterStudios Is it just random operations so it could still happen randomly or do they have it set to where it can't happen?
@@maxhagenauer24 they would have to make a special effort to get them to crossover. it won't happen on a normal operating day
my first upside down roller coaster maybe 95-97
“Corkscrew coaster 1 looks too intense for me”
I got stuck on this yesterday
these two are either secretly insanely ritch or can teleport
Neither haha! We just space our videos out over time so they don’t all come out at once.
Can you please try to get the whole destroyed car in the beginning please
Fiesta watching this be like 👁️👄👁️

Doesn't look like the brought back the timing to run a train in each loop simultaneously. So sad.
It only runs 2 trains now so both going through the loops at the same time is impossible
I kinda feel like this has a bit of a similar storyline to Verbolten. Kinda going out on an expedition through someone scary or with something dangerous inside.
Seems a strange one tbh
Second. Awesome pov!
