@@khoifesh642might be wrong but when you twist the throttle you should see some kind of arm swing back and forth. When you twist it all the way it should hit some screw. The more you back the screw out the more throttle you get
I got a db30. It came with a predator 212 but stopped starting so I swapped to a Honda GC160. It’s ghetto asf but was only $150. If I can fix the predator 212 can get the torque converter and riser plate back on. With the Honda GC160 the TC wouldn’t fit so running like a $25 clutch.
Originally the compression release mechanism gunked up. Fixed that up then maybe a hour of run time it stopped running. Cleaned the carb, tried the jet with a very tiny bit (supposed to go from like .028 to .0315) and still wouldn’t start, did a carb swap still no start, can feel compression when using a drill with socket adapter, also see sparks when running the drill and spark plug still attached but out of the threads and near the frame. Finally said screw it and just did the engine swap. Less displacement but the highest recorded speed I got with the predator 212 was 24.5 and the Honda GC160 hit 34.5 I bet a brand new predator 212 could beat it but the condition I got the predator wasn’t very good. Hoping to fix it and get it back on the bike. Bike looks a lot cleaner with the riser plate, predator and torque converter
