Bollywood ruined Sairat with Dhadak and Mulshi Pattern with Antim. The original directors disliked the remakes because they lost the authentic vibe, rather than staying true to the message. The remakes even poorly adapted the original Marathi songs into Hindi.
I still remember watching Squid Games with my parents and worried about how they will react to the sex scene in episode 2( they don't have any qualms with the excessive violence)...so I immediately note down the time stamp and skipped the entire portion leaving my parents confused 😂

It's Simhavalan Menon, not Simhavalan Kurangu. And that was a remake of the Hindi film Gol Maal (1979).
