I commented in the live while it was live but will do so again here. Please, please, please start letting folks know you will take thier extra and thinned bulbs, corms, tubers, and riazome based flowers and plants this fall when they are thinning out what they own. What you get may not be on your top favorites list either by type of plant, color, etc... But take it anyway, plant it, tend to it, and get it to expand. As you get more established in the new house transplant the lesser favorites and buy the favorites for closer to the house to replace what youve pushed out a little further. BTW - Clumps of chives let go to flower are pretty hardy, fuss free, keep weeds out, and are a deterrent for many pests; tneynare often planted at the base of roses and around fruit trees. They are also cheap to do and possible to grow from seed in a container and protected area. Another pretty hardy plant to grow is rhubarb which can be started from seed but most begin with a portion of root. A rhubarb with a red stem gives color and can be used where a sword type fern would look good. Rhubarb can tolerate more conditions than the ideal typically listed; its pretty hardy.

Missed your live but catching you now. Grew up on a farm with 9 siblings we all eat at the table in the kitchen. Growing up that way and raised my kids that way, food stays in the kitchen. My parents used all cast iron cooking and iam in my 70's and still use all cast iron. My boys grown up left home and are also using cast iron cook ware. Our kids start school day after Labor Day. Your fear for snakes is getting better great job. Grew up not eating out of restaurants and fast food places, cause of so meny in our family. And still don't eat at those places, unless we are traveling, and we have too.

Glad to know someone let you know that your brake pedal going to the floor means the fluid is low most likely due to a brake hose leaking somewhere! Not a complicated repair! Search UA-cam for a how to video! I'm sure you would be able to do the repair for next to nothing! I'd come do it for you if I were closer but I'm in Missouri, just outside St. Louis!
