Great game by LSU. My boys took a good beating tonight, and not to make it a moral victory but Tua & Co played valiantly in the second half. They showed a ton of heart and even with the Tua turnovers I still think the defense is just not good this year - but I won’t take away from Joe Burrow. He is the deserving winner this year and it’s just not close. Congratulations to LSU and good ole Coach O, you guys were the better team last night and from this Bama fan to a bitter rival, I say best of luck and I hope you guys bring home a much deserved title to Baton Rouge. I knew we didn't have the defensive personnel to carry us this year. I can't tell you how many plays they looked absolutely lost & confused on, busted coverages etc. esp in that first half. The loss of Dylan Moses has been catastrophic, along with several other key players. We have zero leadership out there and for the most part, no pass rush. T. Lewis was silent. Not sure if he was being double-teamed or just man-handled. Not to take anything away from LSU. They kicked our butts up & down that field! They played lights out and nearly mistake free. On the other hand, we played sloppy and were mistake laden. We just need to get over it, move on and get ready for the games that remain. Congrats to LSU on the win and best of luck the rest of the way! I hope you get to play Ohio State for the championship and kick their butts to! Keep the $$$ & the trophy in the SEC boys! Yes the defense did not look very good but I still believe Bama could have won if not for the 14 points off of Tua's two mistakes in the first half. Unless the stars align right this may be the end of Alabama's playoff run.

Great compilation. In reading the comments below and in the Alabama biased media (which they are supposed to be), it shows how reluctant human beings are to change. The better team won, but it doesn't stop the skeptics from pointing out Bama's flaws and making excuses for them. LSU had flaws, but overcame them. Bama didn't. They lost. Deal with your disbelief and/or get counseling. Overall, this was a great game.
I'm no fan of either team - but you have to admit that this game was kinda screwed up. note: My opinion comes from this footage, since I never even cared to watch the game originally. but...jesus, just the first quarter alone is full of mistakes and errors; half of which became either massive drawback or miracle plays. added, Both teams flub their extra point... It looks like Bama's defense only gave a damn after Saban bitched at them in the locker room at halftime. Burrow did great, 31/39, 393 yards. Much better than Tua who played like shit, 21/40. In all regards, LSU deserved to win the game, hands down. - but to say "Great game", lol. The fourth quarter was the only excitement, everything else was a bloody fiesta.
LSU fan here, I am not sure why Diggs didn't use the sideline and force him out. Looks like he was containing, waiting for linebacker help but I was shocked he picked up another 5 yards so close to the sideline.

Their comeback didn't start until 4:51 left in the 3rd quarter which means LSU's defense was getting gassed by that point and was banged up to start the game. A healthy rested LSU would have destroyed them worse. Texas played LSU closer than Alabama did and they are now a 3 loss team.

Smith ran by Stingley like he was sitting still (he was). That was first level trickery by Alabama and if they knew we'd do that, kudos to their scouting.
The difference in that game was CEH and LSU making very few mistakes and taking advantage of nearly every mistake made by Bama. They were the better more disciplined more physical team.

Why would Alabama see LSU again in the Playoff? What exactly did Alabama do this year to earn a Playoff spot? They played a joke of a schedule and the best they can hope for is to blow out Auburn and sit at home and watch real Playoff contenders compete in their conference championship games the week after that. If Alabama hurries up they might be able to swap out Western Carolina for a real team and then they might actually earn a Playoff resume.

What I can't abide is some of the worst refs I've seen in a while. Waddle damn near got his head ripped off and there was no call. It doesn't matter he ran back for a TD, there should have been a flag. LSU RB spiked the ball in the end zone, no call. LSU WR steps out of his own accord and is the first to touch the ball, no call. He was not pushed out, he was going out to get into position for the tough catch. If he was pushed, where was the PI call? One of our 4th downs was obviously good when taking into account both camera angles yet they confirmed we were short. We would have likely lost even if the refs had been perfect. It really irks me in the age of instant replay for them to be SO wrong though and now I have to live with the what ifs. Edit: Spelling
