  • This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy Costco pork belly. Eat it over rice, add to ramen, wrap it up in lettuce or steamed cabbage...the possibilities are endless!

    I am assuming the ingredients measurement is...
    Sake: mirin: water: soy sauce: sugar: ginger is.... 1:1:1:1:0.5:0.5

    I think you should braise it first then sear it with sauce
    But still nice

      In Japan they just call it Charsiu out of respect to China because its just the same thing, but different arrangement of ingredients. It's out of respect unlike Korea that loves to change the name and puts "Korean" in front of it as if it was their own lol. 90% korean dish = Japanese

      @@Ohmygawdddde Tonkatsu, udon, oden, shaved ice, oshiruko, taiyaki, instant noodles, soba, somen, sashimi, miso soup, tamagoyaki, tsukemono; except ofcourse they don't call it that because they claim those Japanese foods as their own lol.
