Great video, live in Aintree not far from Wallys steps were you got onto the canal , done the loop line numerous times better early morning before the North face wearers are up and about
Just to respond to what you said at 10.02 I was from Childwall Valley, this loop-line ran past our area ... we called it "The Rallah" I remember fraight trains still running on this line up to 1979.

Hi Kieron . just catching up (as promised) with your videos and watching your Liverpool Loop Line video. Side story /alternative to the Eleanor Rigby story. Rigby and Evens (evens not evans) was a wine merchant (long established) in Liverpool with a branch in Bristol. They did not have a shop as they were importers and wholesalers direct to the trade.I worked for them in the early sixties so I know. Also they had a bottling cellar in Temple street. In Temple street was the Iron Door club and the Beatles played there quote a few times. My theory is that Paul McCartney saw the name over the door when he was (multiple times) in Temple street although his Bristol theory may be correct but Rigby and evens never had a 'store" as such as they never sold to the public. Who knows even Paul McCartney is not sure but I have my theories about it .Combination of church yard Eleanor and Rigby & Evens but in Liverpool. Cheers
Thanks
That route was a bridge Fancier's dream. And your music really cheers me up. Many thanks Kieran.
Hunts Cross, my place. I remember steam, when that car park at the beginning was the Hunts Cross Hotel and when Asda was a farm. Thanks for the vid.

the bimbles
How was the trip along the canal to the city centre?
It's pretty good, All tarmac (a bit rough like) and lots of wildlife. I'd have shown more but it gets dark early this time of year.
@@BimblismUK Thanks, I don't want to ride from Runcorn up that way and use the canal to get back if it is too rough.
@@joerhorton Better than mud and a lot of roads. Ha
@@BimblismUK by rough and wildlife do you mean scallies 😂
@@stephenharris7982 You know never had an issue. All polite, extremely stoned and snug in their Northface coats. :)
