    Is the Melco E16 and Bernina E16 the same machine?

    • @allbrands1976
      @allbrands1976  3 роки тому

      The functionality is the same. The embroidery area, warranty, speed and included accessories will be different depending on the model.

      Hello! We sell the Bravo and the Bernina E16 Plus. I am not very familiar with that model, but I do know that it is always good to have dealer and training support, like when you purchase the Bernina model.

    The upper thread tension. Is that automatic?

    • @allbrands1976
      @allbrands1976  3 роки тому

      Yes it's called the Go Pro Tension System: This unique system ensures threads are fed smoothly and with automatic tension adjustments, for the same perfect quality on every sew-out. Embroider confidently, knowing each stitch-out will be as beautiful as you envision. www.bernina.com/en-US/Machines-US/Multineedle-Embroidery/BERNINA-E-16

    Hello, I have a multi needle brother. Looking into purchase another multi needle machine. Getting a lot of orders for hats lately. What would you recommend for a good hat machine. Also what format does Melco use? Like brother is pes. Just hate to have too many different types of files.

    • @allbrands1976
      @allbrands1976  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Jeana! Thank you for joining our video! The Bernina E16 Plus and Melco Bravos read MOST file types. Not just one like other brands. That is a plus. Also, I like that the capping equipment that is included on the E16 Plus includes 2 hat hoops so you can hoop one, while the other is stitching out. Also, the Bernina E16 Plus and Melco Bravo machines can accomidate many other brands of hoop options like: Durkee, Hoop Tech, Mighty Hoops, and more. I believe that the speed and durability of these machines are perfect if you are starting a business. The Bernina E16 plus is the top of the line model, but the capping equipment is the same for the Melco Bravos. the Melco Bravo machines can ship anywhere in the USA. I hope this helps!

    So is the e16 discontinued?
    What’s the difference between e16 and e16 plus?
    Can you add the futures from e 16plus to e 16 by upgrading software?

    • @allbrands1976
      @allbrands1976  3 роки тому

      Hi Iwona, The main difference is an upgraded bobbin area, and software, and included accessories. The main functions did not change from the E16 (discontinued) to the E16 Plus (current model). Noted 4/16/21.

    Sorry to say but this video is very confusing. I am in the market looking for a multi-needle embroidery machine so I can upgrade from my Bernina B830LE and Artista 640E. I have been able to be in presentations from Brother/BabyLock, Janome, Juki-Tajima, SWF, Barudan, Ricoma, Happy and ZSK, and they have been very clear. The instructors were very structured on their presentations from start to finish. Those machines have everything as part of their machines. But because I have been using Bernina for some years now, I decided to check on the Bernina E16/Melco machines, so I came to UA-cam and watch whatever video for the E16 exists, and for my disappointment, all of the videos I have watched from both Melco and now AllBrands are so confusing. Now I know that with the Bernina I need to have a separate computer to install the OS, and it is from there that you maintain part of the controls and designs. Nowhere in the videos tell you that, you assume it after watching the setting on the video. Only Gayle from Naperville have been more clear on her videos. The models from the brands I mentioned above have the full control in Tablet-like Touch screens that come with the machine, and you do not have to do anything else. And if you want new designs, you can download to the machine with USB drives, and in the case of the Brother and BabyLock machines, you can even do some advanced digitizing. And not only that but I can use my embroidery programs like Embrilliance and Embyrd with those other brands, but the two people here just mention the Bernina OS16, then these two people talking here jump from one topic to another like they have no idea of what they are going to be talking about next. And this Bernina/Melco machine is so different from the other machines on the market. I personally feel very frustrated. I guess I will go with the either the ZSK or the Happy offerings.........

      Jorge, where are you located for hands on local demonstrations, service and training?. The best embroidery machine may be the one that you can get local dealer warranty service and parts on without having to pay independent contractors for on site service which can be very very expensive. Please advise. Thanks. John Douthat, owner tech.

    I like that machine. Unfortunately this man is not very knowledgeable or convincing :/ all I hear is I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️
    So if I get E16 I can upgrade the whole machine by purchasing software?

    I watched several videos and really liked the Melco guy and the product.So much so that I wired nearly $17k to Melco - so excited! Suffice to say - my experience was a serious, serious nightmare and I am grateful to have - eventually - gotten my money returned to me - but not before I had to engage and pay $2k to a Denver litigator to pursue a breach of contract claim. Complete nightmare. What's the worst part - was how much this company - at least four of whom- including the national sales director, the accounting director, and even the son of the president of the company- were briefed and just did not care. They were dismissive, indifferent, and down right cruel. I wish someone had warned me.

      Hi Gretchen, I'm sorry to hear that. Did you purchase this from AllBrands or from Melco directly? I know that the supply chain caused by the global pandemic are currently causing delays in shipping. I do not see your name in our system. Our last order was canceled and refund due to the item being unavailable.

      Can you mention which was the problem you had? Was it with the machine? Was it about the training? Was it about ordering and delivering? You are not clear on the type of problem you had, and your comment is not helpful for me at least. Thanks.
