My first crystal purchase is a moss agate :) I'm a taurus and I've always felt a calling to visit Yellowstone National Park, so it's interesting to see those connections! Thanks for the video!
Hi there - Both Moss Agate and Green Phantoms are varieties of Quartz. They are very different in terms of their energy. What they have in common is that they both relate strongly to nature. Moss Agate is calming, helps with stress, and is gently grounding (as in our vid). Green Phantom is a variety of quartz that has 'phantoms' inside of it and is much more potent and profound. These 'phantoms' are unusual 'pyramidal' formation repeating inside. Whilst it has been growing over milions of years, its growth has stopped many times, during which time dust and particles have accumulated on its surface. Then the environment around it has changed and and it has continued to grow once more -hence you can see these 'pyramids' within it. Energetically Phantom Quartz relates to our own growth processes, and cycles of development. This is an excellent crystal to work with for meditation for personal healing work and self-development. It can help us to see more clearly repetitive patterns in our lives, periods of symbolic death and rebirth, and sometimes can also take us back to past lives, if the root of the patterns that we wish to heal originate from a previous time. Phantom quartzes are often clear, but the green variety has chlorite in it which gives it the stronger nature connection. Hope this helps!
You should never wear a gemstone of your sun sign. Consult an astrologer. Generally you should wear the gemstone of the planetary ruler of your dharma houses (1st house, 5th house and 9th house), especially the planetary ruler of the rising sign (the ascendant). Wearing any other gemstones without proper astrological knowledge could harm. That's why consult an astrologer.
Hi thanks for your comment and opinion- I appreciate there are lots of different belief systems and you're talking about Vedic Astrology. However, that doesn't make sense to me. Crystals all have different energies - for example Blue Lace Agate is calming, Citrine is energising, Snowy quartz is clearing - if on a particular day we feel quite flat - then it could be approrpiate to wear Citrine to energise us. If we feel stressed - then Blue Lace Agate can calm us. If our energy field needs clearing, then Snowy is a good choice. I don't think it has anything to do with our birth chart, but rather what we need energetically in that moment to bring us back into balance. In fact I think to tell anyone they should wear a particular crystal all the time could be detrimental as we change all the time, no matter what our souls overall path as shown in our birth chart. I don't think its astrogical knowledge thats needed to work with the mineral kingdom or wear gemstones, but a deep understanding of the energies of the crystals themselves - without that I do believe crystals could potentially be harmful to wear. If we are sensitive we may be wearing something that is causing us problems without realising it. When I talk about a crystals correlation to an Astrological sign or planet, I don't mean wear this crystal all the time if you're that sign, I simply mean that particular crystal reflects attributes of that sign or planet, or can help sometimes if we are expressing the typical energy of that sign in a detrimental way e.g. Virgos can typically be prone to worrying and be quite critical so Yellow Jasper may be helpful as it has a sedating/calming energy. With Moss Agate - this relates strongly to nature and has a gentle energy, so this is similar to the sign of the energy of the sign of Taurus (the bull grazing in the field). I'm not saying if you're Taurus you should wear this crystal non-stop (unless you are of course finding it beneficial!).
Brilliant ❤...
Thank you so much! More on the way!
Thanks Rob. Moss Agate under the microscope is amazing. So much to see.
Yes, so beautiful when you can see close up all the different fern like formations inside!
