CanAm Ryker update. Good news!

- My wife's Ryker is back on the road! A big thanks to Lifestyle Honda in Mount Vernon Washington for getting this situation all squared away. They have the best prices and customer service in the PNW in my opinion. More videos are on the way soon so make sure to like and subscribe!

My Ryker is my third Spyder, I also own a 2008 GS a 2014 STS as well and I had only a few minor warranty issues with BRP, and all issues were due to a crap Dealer in Kissimme Fla where I bought my 2008 GS Spyder where my front end alignment sucked from their sorry workmanship assembling it, also it caused my handlebars to snap off while I was riding it due to an over tightened nut on the steering shaft. Other than those I have never had any issues with my Spyders warranties including my BEST extended warranties.
Also, why buy a high priced stereo I bought a dual channel 25 Watt amp with Radio plus bluetooth, and it will also play SD card with audio on it with 4 inch speakers on line for about $35.
For less than a hundred bucks US you can buy a backup cam mount it on your license tag and put a monitor up front for about 50 or 60 dollars.
I believe a comfort seat would be a must for me.

Hazard switch is not required as you can just flip the transmission in reverse and all 4 blinkers will flash.

I'll be home in a couple of days after being parted from my baby for a month, and in that time I bought a bunch of accessories for it. So I'll get to go home and install that stuff finally. I did get the stereo system and hopefully it works well. I'm a bit touchy on the exhaust and dont really want to change it because of the cvt, imagine how loud it will be at 9,000 rpm, might make you sick lol, nice looking trikes! I love that green on yours!
Thanks buddy! Let me know how that stereo works out. That is really the first one I want to do myself. I have the same concerns for the exhaust as well. I love the note, but I don't need my ears further blasted out.

2020 offers the lock option for the brake

@@Metalpanzerwolf I don't think it should be an option. It's really a safety issue so should be included as part of the machine. Besides, how much is that going to hurt Can Am's bottom line......

Good idea! The rear bag already works great to keep you from sliding towards the rear when you hit the gas. Not so much as a backrest, but it helps lock you in to your seat. If you added a pad of some sort it would probably give you a bit more support if you needed it.

Do y’all know what kind of spark plugs do they have?
I am not sure what OEM spark plugs Can Am uses. My wife's bike has been running great since having them replaced with new ones though. I also don't know if the dealership used factory recommended or a different brand. I do know of at least one company that makes a replacement they sell with their computer flash upgrade that is supposed to be better, but how much so is anyone's guess at the moment.
I figured that can am would have better costumer service that chinese scooter company's but sound like they dont.

Nope. It held for about five months. My brother has not been able to keep it on his ryker for any length of time. I would stick with the ride scan brand.
