In this eye-opening conversation, Dr. Amy Edmondson from Harvard Business School breaks down the science of failing well-revealing how to turn mistakes into learning opportunities and avoid unproductive failures. In her book Right Kind of Wrong, she shares how psychological safety, smart risk-taking, and embracing setbacks can lead to greater success in leadership and life. 💡
After decades of award-winning research, Amy Edmondson is here to upend our understanding of failure and make it work for us. In Right Kind of Wrong, Edmondson provides the framework to think, discuss, and practice failure wisely. Outlining the three archetypes of failure-basic, complex, and intelligent-Amy showcases how to minimize unproductive failure while maximizing what we gain from flubs of all stripes.

With vivid, real-life stories from business, pop culture, history, and more, Edmondson gives us tailored practices, skills, and mindsets to help us replace shame and blame with curiosity, vulnerability, and personal growth. You’ll never look at failure the same way again.

This might be a small thing, because i would agree her knowledge is the most important part of this video, but the professor's "studio" is fabulous. Being soft and natural, the lighting is truly excellent. And i must admit, i do love to see what is on people's book shelves LOL
