This is a great interview. I was an MRI service guy for 30 years (for GE). If I were asked what my most fulfilling moments were, it would be when there is a really difficult problem, and you finally figure it out. You just walk a bit taller for a while after that!

A field service engineer works long hours for very little pay and stays away from home for long periods.
I only wish I had it to do over again. I would work in the auto factory.

That really depends on your industry and training. Bio med can easily net you over 6 figures.

@@kam6642 And you work your butt off for it. Field service on Medical imaging equipment is not for workers with families. I did it for 40 years for GE, TOSHIBA AND CARESTREAM. Wish I would have been an electrician or worked the factory.

@@justtinkering6713my longest days were pharmaceutical robotics. But in bio med I get a lotta down time. Very few overnights. There can be the occasional 14 hour day especially if you have to fly. But typically I’m home by 5 and doing office days Friday lol.
