Pork isn't banned in Bangladesh. You can sell pork in dhaka Chittagong and other places also. But nobody sells pork in places other than CHT because there is literally zero demands in other places. Even the Bengali hindus don't have pork in there diet.
In Bangladesh there are 48 Group of ethnic community lives in Bangladesh. Most popular group are Chakma’s, Marmaras, Manipuri, Garo,Khasi,Santals,Mong,Barmes, Piyang,Dalit,Bede,Tripuri etc.

@@nitinbhaskar7166 chakma peoples are brave too , i heard how did they fight against govt for their rights by forming Shanti bahini when BD govt was forcing them to convert into Muslim otherwise massacre, burning house , killing, rape, murder etc etc which was carried out by BD army , till now one protestor kalpana chakma is not found neither her body is recovered. Peoples believed that she was gang-raped and murdered by local police and army , they took her away from home at night when she was sleeping with her family members. Chakma faced lots of hate because it's the only tribe which raised Indian flag in Chittagong when got independence during 1947, because of it Pak army did to massacre , raped , murder , even killing innocent childrens olders . Chakma peoples believed that Chittagong was included in India but unfortunately a major part of them became Bangladeshi but during 1972 india-Pak war the peoples (Bengalis)who fleed from Bangladesh and took shelter in Tripura got Indian citizenship. But Indian govt totally ignored them . Iron man ballab Bhai Patel tried to do help chakma peoples but failed because former PM nehru had no interest for them to gain political mileage or gain.

Another great video from this series, the people in the hill tracts you’re visiting seems to be progressive with the land being fertile. Couple of things that Dipanshu bhai found hard to decipher while talking with Amartya bhai: - বঙ্গোপসাগর/Bongoposagor is Bay of Bengal - If I am not wrong Amartya bhai meant Poush Mela, time the border is relaxed and one can visit India for few days, which is primarily the Makar Sankranti time.

Chakmas are mostly buddhist have faced persecution in East Bengal. Thousands fled to India. Few years back Indian govt gave permanent citizenship to chakma & hajong refugees residing in India
@Donat That's not true, many Chakmas wanted to join the Mukti Bahini. It was the local branch of Awami League which alienated them. Raja Tridiv was not a war criminal. He did not run armed militia like Golam Azam, Fazlur Qader Chowdhury. He was a political dissident of Mujib like Frontier Gandhi of Pakistan.

Bangladesh committed more than 20 massacres against the indigenous people since independence. At least 5 of them are equal or exceeds the Jallianwala Bagh massacres in size and ferocity. Bangladesh flooded the CHT with Bangladeshi settlers and military.

Dipansu vai u missed Manipuri tribe of our Sylhet Division. Here in Moulvibazar district specially in Kamalganj Manipuri people live. Majority of them r called Bisnupria Manipuri and they follow Hinduism.

Chakmas are mostly buddhist have faced persecution in East Bengal. Thousands fled to India. Few years back Indian govt gave permanent citizenship to chakma & hajong refugees residing in India
@Donat That's not true, many Chakmas wanted to join the Mukti Bahini. It was the local branch of Awami League which alienated them. Raja Tridiv was not a war criminal. He did not run armed militia like Golam Azam, Fazlur Qader Chowdhury. He was a political dissident of Mujib like Frontier Gandhi of Pakistan.
@@challenger13_31 We had faced persecution in East Pakistan, but that pales compared to the persecution we faced in Bangladesh. Bangladesh committed more than 20 massacres against the indigenous people since independence. At least 5 of them are equal or exceeds the Jallianwala Bagh massacres in size and ferocity. Bangladesh flooded the CHT with Bangladeshi settlers and military.

I am from Chittagong living in China 🇨🇳. Ethnic minorities in Bangladesh specifically in Chittagong city living together peacefully and helping each other to develop their livelihood. And i am telling you people in Chittagong division love to eat dry fish, i can eat one plate rice with dry fish

These sort of conspiracies and agendas are still on-going. So there is no way calling them non-settlers.

Majority of them r called Bisnupria Manipuri and they follow Hinduism.
Large number of garo tribes are also there in Bangladesh near the meghalaya(baghmara) Bangladesh border
