Disability Network Eastern Michigan's Assistive Technology Program is available to consumers in our area of service at no cost. We can work 1 on 1 in-person or virtually to help consumers find assistive technology that may help them overcome barriers. For more information, please visit our website at www.DNEMichigan.org.

(Pharaoh) These are some wonderful assistive technology devices you have back here. Tell us about Disability Network Eastern Michigan's Assistive Technology Program. How does it work for our consumers?
(Jeffrey) Well, we can work one on one with consumers. We have a wide variety of assistive technology items. So not only these behind us but we have a whole closet. There’s also a lot of assistive technology apps and programs on computers. So I can help out with that.
I will look for devices that may help them overcome barriers.
(Pharoah) And do you do demonstrations?
(Jeffrey) I do demonstrations. So I demonstrate the different items. There’s no cost to these demonstrations or even consulting with us. So the assistive technology program is here to help you.
