An aesthetically pleasant match up with similar supercar castings! You've always presented yourself as a fan of trivia in diecast, so I was surprised a little when you did not mention the Celero GT was the very first to sport the Exotic 10-Spoke (E10SP) wheels which have now become quite popular in the mainline series of cars, even if so far they don't appear to be anyone's first choice in building competitive modified racers. For myself, to find out the Celero was in fact a *fantasy* car left me crestfallen but that said the model speaks so well to Mattel's own designs! Perhaps someone out there will build it in real life, much like those who have built actual cars from the Deora II, Twin Mill, and other iconic Hot Wheels originals!
Thank you! You're right! It's amazing to think that the Celero GT was a fantasy car. They really did a good job designing it. I didn't even know about the E10SP. good catch! Modifying one might be fun. Maybe just add some weight to it and see how it goes. But definitely two thumbs up to Mattel for that design!
super cool
Thanks!
