Cool amp, you made me laugh with the "nooks & crannies" comment. You don't hear that too often. Great video Brad and your attention to detail is outstanding sir!!
everyone was expecting you take staples out and pull that cloth tight, the hot gun method was genius
"the fuck it bucket", got to love the Aussie turn of phrase. I'll be getting one of those installed in my workshop immediately
Sweet! really nice warm tone as well!
Brad your attention to detail is amazing, and you even go the extra mile to clean it up to, you and Lyle from Psionic are both amazing techs, and I love both your channels.
Thanks for the contribution. I own 2 of these same amp. I put a EVM12L in for a speaker upgrade.
Brad, great job. I loved the part where you used the hot air gun to retention the grill cloth. Epic..!
Those Sylvania for the most part where very good vacuum and sounded to me very fine in HiFi use.
I am amazed out how good this amp now sounds! Attention to detail is what matters. Great work my friend.
What an (again) beautiful amp, bravo.
What a fabulous sounding amp
you need to get right into the cracks. ☺ with your denture brush. 😘👌
sounds nice 👍👍
By using hot air on the grill cloth, is it in effect expanding it then contracting back further than where it was when it cools?
It works a bit like heatshrink. Like when you throw a plastic bag on the fire and it shrinks to a little ball.
