So happy you went second. I love the look of both, But you kicked his can all over the driveway. And I’m going to try to prepare yours in real life. It was like food porn. Only question is was the tart base suppose to be tortillas shaped? Or a pastry shell base?
The base is a thicker version of a corn tortilla, once you have cooked it you then pinch the sides up to build a little wall so it can hold the ingredients inside. Some deep fry it before adding the ingredients and others just leave it a little longer in the pan to cook with a tiny bit of oil to get them a little bit crispy underneath. :) But its corn flour, a tiny bit of salt or a lot :) depends on your preference, and water.
Ooh.. That's a tough one. I think to pick a winner, you both will have to cook the real dishes for me, and let me do a taste test. 😂 Seriously, though. They both look amazing, but I'm going to call you the winner of this one, for me. 😁

I went to a food truck the other day and i asked for 1 order of Flautas i was so disappointed the vender said, "we have someone who ordered 50 flauta orders ahead of you its over 30 minute wait." I politely said thank you and left. But now i am craving some i think i'm just gonna make some myself lol :) i just need to buy some beef to cook and shred :).

He should’ve stuffed his with either plant dirt or taco meat, that would’ve put it over the edge for me. His was so creative. Both were.

With polymer clay :)
I took some polymer clay and put the purple on top of the white and i rolled it on a toothpick, when it was baked it cut very fine slices :).
