Yes I too wondered that but I think the secret is in the fact that each domino is very much lighter than your average full size wooden domino used in the game. However, that being said, without the patience and precision, it would not have been possible. We didn't come to this world to just invent the wheel and electricity - we also came to waste an awful lot of time amusing ourselves.

YES! Exactly this. The physics at play in the second phase were masterfully addressed. I had a moment or two of doubt but it worked out beautifully.

I remember watching this as a young kid, it's been about 6-7 years, and seeing again the video of the channel I used to watch again and again brings me so much comfort, I know it's a bit weird but this was part of my childhood lmao.
This was so well made, it was mesmerizing, my childhood self wanted to say this but didn't found the words nor knew english at the time, I'm 13 btw.
I wanted to say more due to the significance of this video, but a simpler comments fits more the simple and innocent joy I felt while watching these.

My hats off to you for having the patience’s to set this up. 25 hours worth of work for around a minute and a half of action is something I would not be able to do.

Amazingly beautiful! It was even beautiful as the last of the dominoes fell and the pattern and bright colors were gorgeous and mesmerizing as the 15,500 fell.
