Whoever is the DP needs to do a better job lighting the subject. In the first video of this Jamelle was lit well with natural light (almost golden hour lighting so perfect) and you could see his face and features well. The lighting here makes it hard to see his face well and the black door for the microwave doesn't help with contrast.
yeah, it's a shame, Serious Eats have some excellent content but the production quality lets them down sometimes. (Can't really be helped as they're clearly all working remotely and under covid restrictions) hopefully in the future things improve
Jamelle, I appreciate your sacrifice for the sake of discerning eaters. I would like to see you review homemade cinnamon milktoast with various breads.
I greatly appreciate the dedication to the review!
Tapping into the Munchies market.
Now turn the Jolly Rancher cereal into a sausage.
I feel like this cereal would confuse the hell out of a non-american looking at our cereal aisle
😬if you want to try a sour-sweet cereal see if they have Sour Patch Kids cereal near you, would love to know your thoughts!
Awesome review!! I really liked this video and Jamelle is grrrrreat :)
Based on your taste test I think I will try this cereal.
You are doing noble work sir.
Yeah..Jamelle Bouie!
Honestly, these cereal reviews are exactly what I need in life rn. It's really great, you're great. Happy cereal eating! 😋
"Hopefully it'll be as not awful as this one"
Fixed.
I can't lie... this is dumb and I love it. This shouldn't exist but it does and you, sir, are doing a fantastic friggin' job. I'm giving this five spoons.
What is the best milk for cereal?
Macadamia or whole cow milk
The one that you like... duh!
I prefer milk.
Lol I love his voice and personality
WHAT! How does this exist and what happened to Jolly Rancher Sticks!!?
A cereal review from someone who drinks fake milk is like a car review from someone who drives a tricycle to work
Haha sour cereals.. can't even imagine how it will taste. That too with the milk 😅
Gaggle of children 😂😂
💙💙💙
Big flex having the clock in the background.
This is unbearable.
This is dumb.
I don't think you are pumping out enough of these
12 grams of sugar. Per cup? Per serving? Per ton? Also note the oat milk, actually oat juice. Revolting.
I think it's per piece.
That's it! Unsubbing if this is your best shot, round two (2) of this series. Most adults over the age of 18 know what cereal they like, to say nothing of the sugar-filled-and-laden choices.
Not hate speech, but:
Ugh!, ugh! and triple ugh!
I wonder how much Serious Eats is paying for this Reviewbrah knockoff.
It's going to be him the whole time?
I'm out.
Why is a NYT political writer on Serious Eats? I do my best to avoid these people, which is why I subscribe to food channels.
At least there was absolutely no political content whatsoever in the video. That said, the video wasn't worth watching.
@@StopBuggingMeGoogleIHateYou which makes it a step above all political content this point in American history.
Why do I feel uncomfortable that they have a big black guy in cheap looking glasses and what looks like PJ tops under his jacket doing this video. It seems to hit on too many tropes - AAs are special needs, eat sugary food, are childlike etc etc Jamelle is a pretty erudite guy so I'm wondering what he thinks.
